Our location is only 1.2 miles from Tuffs University and 2.4 from Harvard University. It is in the middle of North Cambridge, Somerville, and Medford. You could walk to Davis Square or to downtown Arlington and will find plenty of good restaurants and coffee places to explore. It is only 3 minutes to public transportation, bus that connects with Red line in the MBTA subway system. Our residential neighborhood is young and vibrant, and excellent point to explore Boston and surrounding towns.

This lovely apartment is part of our charming and historic New England home. Guests have their own private entrance and an entire 1bd/1.5ba apartment to enjoy. Our quiet neighborhood has access to public transportation and is close to Boston, Cambridge, Somerville and Medford. It is the perfect spot if you are in town on vacation, for work, or for an event! This 3rd floor suite is less than 2 miles west of Harvard Sq. You'll have exclusive access to the space, which has a full bathroom and kitchenette. There is a queen bed suitable for two people and the couch in the living room converts to a bed for one. Our neighborhood is friendly, safe, and has a lot to offer. Public transportation (bus) is a 5 minute walk. The trip to Harvard Square is 10-15 minutes. I live in the home downstairs and am available should you need me during your stay.

A Lovely Private Room in the heart of Cambridge

My stay at Irene's home was absolutely the highlight of my trip to Boston! She was so welcoming and friendly, and Numnum was a lovely host too. Irene was always so helpful, and her home was absolutely beautiful and well kept. We had some amazing conversations and she was a friendly presence in a city which I was visiting for the first time. Pictures cannot do justice to how beautiful the neighborhood is too. It was an easy 20 min walk from Harvard Square, but if you don't want to walk it is also very well connected by bus, with the bus stop being less than 5 min away by walk. Just note that the unit is on the 3rd floor of an old building with no elevator access, so it may not work for anyone with accessibility issues. I will for sure be back in Boston, and I will definitely be booking my stay again with Irene!

Linda was a wonderful host, made me feel so at home in my room. The room is cute, with windows on 2.5 walls, so great natural light. The shared kitchen & bathrooms are clean and organized and Linda is very generous with her space and time and was very responsive for any questions I had. Andale is a very cute, well behaved dog and the area is nice, with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Linda also let me store some of my stuff in her basement which was very kind. Had a great stay here, loved chatting with Linda and staying in her beautiful home.
