Akizuki Craft Garden Main Building This is the perfect facility for groups of up to 7 people to stay without being disturbed by anyone. While it is a private rental, there are 3 separate rooms that can be locked with a key to secure a private space. There is a paved parking lot in front of the entrance. It is available for guests to use free of charge. The key is auto-locked, so you can get your ID at check-in and then come and go as you like. A small stream flows in the courtyard, there is a terrace in the living room, and a large garden with a fountain, with a view of the rice terraces and flowers of a Japanese samurai residence, and when the river is flowing, you can see fireflies dancing. There is also another 2-story apartment hotel (newly built) on the same premises with 3 rooms (hotel specifications) with a capacity of 6 people (3 rooms x 2 people). Each room has a terrace, and the first floor is fully equipped with a professional kitchen, and a living and dining space where parties are allowed (maximum capacityand a large open terrace, making it ideal for group guests. You can also rent out both buildings for a group of up to 13 people. There is also Akizuki Castle Town Brewery on the premises, where you can experience Akizuki Craft Beer, made with Akizuki spring water.

A luxurious time in nature

YANAGOYA is a guest house operated by "Yana Farm" in the mountains at an altitude of about 500 m in Koishihara, Higashimine Village, Fukuoka Prefecture, limited to one group per day. We provide "natural healing" with the concept of "stimulating the five senses with FARM × CAMP". You can hear birds chirping and insects buzzing, and the sky is full of stars at night. Enjoy a luxurious time in a private space where you can spend a pleasant time and become one with nature. Facilities include a kitchen, bath, washroom, toilet, and wood stove, and you can enjoy a campfire and BBQ in the lawn area. * We do not provide meals. Bedding includes an inflatable mat, sleeping bag (spring, autumn, winter), and a towel quilt (summer). Electricity is off-grid with no power lines, so solar power is stored in batteries, and water is filtered from the mountain. The bath is a wood boiler that burns wood to heat it, and it is a facility that makes use of the power of nature. * Fans are installed in the facility in summer. Akizuki Kayabuki Fireplace

A renovated Edo period thatched roof house, formerly a “prison” for samurai-engineers who failed to build a stone bridge (the current “Meganebashi”) and were imprisoned until they completed the job. The building is protected under the historical buildings act, and the craftsment who worked on the straw-roof have worked on UNESCO registered buildings throughout the Japan.

Akizuki Casa-Kura

A registered protected historic building, this one-bedroom accomodation is a unique stay. Renovated by aki(architects), this 120 year old Kura (a traditional store-house) was used by a merchant family to keep their valuable belongings. With views towards Mt. Kosho and surrounded by a Japanese garden, it’s perfect for a 2-3 person getaway.
