This was our second stay at Peacefield and it was just as wonderful this time. We enjoyed the pool everyday. The house has a lot to do. The home is peaceful and relaxing just what you want for a girl's weekend getaway! Barbara is always responsive if you have a question.

This was such a wonderful home! As other reviewers said, lots of room for a big group to spread out. We had 8 guests. (6 adults and two kids) We explored Harpers Ferry and enjoyed hiking the Maryland Heights Trail. We felt absolutely comfortable hanging at this serene house for our mornings and evenings. Cooked most of our meals, played billiards, sang karaoke, and enjoyed the plunge pool. We had an epic round of hide and go seek. Great interior design and lots of space to spread out for quiet time, and many perfect reading nooks. Thanks Leigh, for being so responsive and friendly!

Was a wonderful immersive experience. We enjoyed dining and playing board games in the great hall. The escape rooms were very well done. I was skeptical on how it would go without a game master, even had some nice surprise moments. Looking forward to staying again. Kids were upset we weren't staying all week.

This home was the perfect place to celebrate my daughter’s graduation! We had family travel in from several states, and everyone felt comfortable and truly enjoyed the spacious layout. It was a bit too chilly to use the pool, but I’m already looking forward to booking this home again. I’ll definitely be a repeat renter!

We had a wonderful family reunion here with 3 generations. Each family had their own private space but there was tons to do on the property together as well. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and made sure we were comfortable and happy! We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked, too.

We traveled to the area to attend a golf tournament - we stayed for four nights. The property is gorgeous! I always try to rent properties with a fenced in backyard but there were no neighbors anywhere in sight and the backyard was HUGE so my dog didn't wander at all. We saw lots of wildlife - beautiful inquisitive deer and turkeys. The home was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook dinner. I especially loved the stovetop and oven and huge SubZero fridge/freezer. My only complaint was pics of the pool show a spa that is part of the pool - we have stayed in plenty of Airbnbs with pools like this and the spa should have been operational but we were informed that it was not. "Hot tub" was not advertised but in my experience a hot tub is stand alone from the pool which is what I have at home. Spas that are part of a pool should be able to be turned on when in use. Portoro Homes replied quickly when we inquired - however we were disappointed.

The home was big and beautiful. It was much more than I was expecting and the access to the KOA was a plus. My family and I can’t wait for an opportunity to return.

the stay was wonderful!! we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. from photos, the house seemed very secluded but it’s not (no biggie!) it’s also close to nearby towns and the house was well stocked for us. we did lose power due to storms, but Michelle was very responsive and polite. Also, if you have a low riding vehicle beware that you’ll scrape bottom coming out of the driveway. The hot tub was nice, but the accessibility leaves a lot to be desired. the stairs are terrifying lol but once we got the nerve to climb them, it was lovely! the pool was amazing with a lot of provided floats, tubes etc. they also left out their vacuum and skimmers for us to use which was so helpful as a lot of frogs, turtles and bugs got into the pool throughout the night & the storms. overall, we had a great time and i would highly recommend booking. we would absolutely visit again.

Imad’s home was perfect for our family. It had all the amenities we needed, including a convenient home office setup with an extra monitor—making it easy to stay productive. The house was spotless and located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. We felt completely at home and will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Virginia.

This is one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in! It is in the perfect location - very walkable to shopping, bars, restaurants, and a walking/biking trail. Everything was very clean and it is so well decorated. We felt right at home there. I can confidently say I would book this house again.

The place was great! Very clean and comfy for a great price! Chet was a very effective communicator and made sure that I had everything I needed! Would gladly stay here again.

My daughter was getting married and she and her sister stayed for the final few nights before the wedding. Beautiful, peaceful non-stressful area to relax and be ready for the big day. I highly recommend the place! It is a peaceful, beautiful spot looking out to the mountains!

I really enjoyed my stay! He’s super friendly and responded quick anytime I needed help finding something in the home. The house is so beautifully decorated very high tech as well which made me love it even more. You can dim the lights, there’s a control to put the curtains down, controls to move the tvs down as well, overall very modern, cute and was everything he described. 5 stars! I had absolutely no issues with this say whatsoever and I’ll definitely be booking again. I totally recommend for anyone who’s unsure, just book it it’s so worth it.

Beautiful location and very clean, well-kept apartment. The bed was extremely comfortable (reminding me of upscale hotel). Vera is very responsive. Lots of storage. There is no separate a/c control in the space, however she was very responsive when asked to adjust the temperature (a bit of a nuisance though to have to ask). Also, although the host knows about it and mentions it in the check in instructions, the door handle is broken and very difficult and frustrating to get In and out of.

We loved our stay! The house is even more beautiful than the photos, and the property is beautiful. Our kids loved playing in the creek and hiking at Bear’s Den, and we loved the local breweries. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Shafia’s place! We enjoyed the area and rode the Metro from the Franconia Springfield station into DC. This was a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Beds were comfortable and the space was perfect for us. (Girls’ Trip!) We visited AmThai close by, Mount Vernon, Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, The Library of Congress (tickets in advance), Zaytinya (reservations), the National Portrait Gallery, Virtue Feed & Grain (reservations), Old Town Alexandria, Old Town Books, the Swiss Bakery nearby, Barca (reservations), and Tous Les Jours Bakery & Cafe. What a wonderfully perfect, charming home right in the heart of downtown Leesburg! We were in town for our niece's graduation and needed a place to stay along with my parents. Having a love for historic homes, we knew this would be the perfect place for us...and we were right! Fantastic location, an incredibly clean and bright space with endless character, well appointed, cozy and beautifully decorated--staying in this home will be a highlight of your trip. Annie is responsive and friendly and has created an incredible space. We would not hesitate to book this lovely house again anytime we are in town.

We did a girls weekend away from the kids. We wanted something peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Thats exactly what we got. The property is beautiful. Very close to wineries!! Megan and Scott are very friendly. We definitely would revisit and recommend to anyone else!

It was a pleasure to stay at Tammy and Rene’s home. We had family join us from different states and the proximity to the airport was very convenient. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, playing game in the large living room, and making meals in the well stocked kitchen.

Our countryside escape was just what we needed. The home was peaceful and full of charm — exactly as described. We stayed for a month and it was a great experience for us. The property was very clean and very comfortable. The location was great -- we could walk to the downtown restaurants, which was very fun. The host was very responsive and respectful. The hosts were good communicators. We highly recommend this property to others! Five Stars!
