The cottage is equipped with keyless entry, fiber optic high speed internet, smart TVs, washer and dryer, mini-split A/C and heat, and a fully functional kitchen. The two bedrooms have Sealy memory foam mattresses (Queen).

(Please note the siding is being redone on the farmhouse in front of the cottage so there will be construction noise at times) This farm cottage is located on a historic 40 acre farmstead behind a beautiful farmhouse (which is under renovation) with views of The Peak, Ashe County’s highest mountain. We are bordering Elk Knob State Park and a 10 minute drive to the park entrance. The farm is located in the historic Sutherland valley district and was built in 1807 by Thomas Sutherland.

Centrally located to Wilkesboro, West Jefferson, and Boone in Deep Gap, NC you can be to Appalachian State University , the Blue Ridge Parkway, or multiple ski mountains in just minutes.
