Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Ashfield

We stayed for around 28 days at Catherine’s place, and it had everything we needed for that length of stay with our young baby, including a bassinet, which was a real lifesaver. The street parking was a bit interesting and was the only minor inconvenience during our stay (to be expected when the place is so centrally located). There is plenty of timed parking, but kind of a lucky dip/stake out exercise to get a spot in the untimed/free all day parking in the street. We always managed to get a spot eventually though when we kept an eye on the street for vacancies! It would have really elevated our stay had there been a visitor’s permit available at the property for the timed spaces.

What a remarkable location - and a unique way to access the tree house via boat. Berowra Waters is a stunning place, and having your own little boat tied up to the jetty to jump into for a peaceful explore of the water at any time was definitely the highlight of the stay. The house is lovely and nestled in high trees and bushland with expansive views up the river, with the afternoon sun reflecting the undulating ripples of the water onto the ceiling of the lounge room like a meditative slideshow. The indoor fire was super cosy, with plenty of wood supplied. Outdoor bath was a treat even on a cold night. It was fun to be picked up and dropped back at the marina by knowledgeable locals - very friendly and helpful. Loved every moment !

This house is amazing! The views are so incredible, from the moment you walk in- you’re fixated with looking out over Newport! Lee was easy to communicate with and responded to all our requests very quickly. Definitely would stay again.

Location, location, location! Charlotte’s place in Tamarama is an absolute gem. It has everything you could possibly need, with the most spectacular views and what truly feels like your own private beach. The home is spacious, super comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing stay. Charlotte was incredibly accommodating she made our late check-in seamless and was so helpful throughout. The studio is stunning! The garden is beautiful and it’s quite close to the lake! Even though the studio is attached to the house, it still feels 100% private! I was stunned by the food in the freezer that we were free to use if we wanted! That was a very thoughtful! The bed was extremely comfortable. This space has been utilised very well! we would love to rebook in the future!

We had a relaxing weekend getaway and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Siro, the host, was incredibly friendly and responsive, making our check-in and overall experience smooth and stress-free. The property offers an unblocked beachfront view, providing a peaceful and private setting in a quiet neighbourhood. There’s free street parking space just right below the house, and the house is situated on the high side, giving it an elevated feel. We especially appreciated that it was pet-friendly — it made our trip even more enjoyable! The house was immaculate, with a spotless living room and bathroom. Thoughtful touches like complimentary towels, a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and even sunscreen were provided. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a gas cooktop and all the necessary cookware and utensils, meant we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Kim is an EXCELLENT Airbnb host! Even before we booked, she was incredibly flexible and responsive, making the whole process so easy and stress free. She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and was genuinely supportive throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, Kim and her family made us feel welcome and cared for. Her communication was prompt and thoughtful, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Great location in Elizabeth bay. Nice views from the balcony and living room. Easy walk to Kings Cross train station and local buses, so easy to get around. Nice local cafe on Elizabeth bay marina that’s worth checking out. Apartment is a good size, two bathrooms with one being en-suite. If you’re self catering there kitchen is good and large fridge. Victoria was a great host, proactive and helpful.

Superb apartment in impressive Wharf building, with harbour views across to the Art Gallery of NSW. Excellent location with only a short walk to Potts Point in one direction and the Art Gallery in the other. Friendly Bars just across the road and others in the Wharf building itself.

The house is very cozy, clean and tidy, and fully equipped!

I cannot say enough great things about our stay at Sharon’s one bedroom in the city! First, Sharon was a gem of a host! She was very responsive and sent detailed instructions with pictures for check in, knowing it could be confusing to find. She was also flexible to allow us to drop off bags early, which was a huge help! The apartment was just as described, a comfy space to come back to after big days of exploring! It was very clean and had all we needed for our stay.

The apartment is in a great location for transport to the city and The Tramsheds and Newtown easily walkable. It was good to have access to the gym and pool. Communication with Clearly was easy and she responded swiftly. We would definitely stay here again.

Jacqueline and Michael’s Airbnb in Bondi Beach is the perfect spot for a beach-focused Sydney getaway. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach and with a bus stop right outside, getting to downtown or Circular Quay is super easy. The apartment itself is cozy, clean, and has such a welcoming vibe. It truly felt like a home away from home. The decor is stylish yet comfortable, and there are thoughtful touches throughout the space. The neighborhood is vibrant, with cafes, shops, and restaurants just around the corner. We especially loved being able to walk to Bondi Beach in minutes—it made morning walks and evening swims a daily routine. Jacqueline and Michael were incredibly kind and responsive hosts. They made us feel so welcome and offered great local recommendations. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and I honestly can’t wait to rebook this place when I return!

Brendan and Maureen’s place is wonderful! It’s a beautiful apartment with incredible views in one of the best locations in the world, Bondi Beach. The apartment was clean, well maintained and stocked with everything listed, and is in close proximity to everything you could want/need. Getting into the building/carpark/apartment was seamless. I couldn’t have asked for a better base for a really great trip. I highly recommend Brendan and Maureen’s apartment…I promise you won’t want to leave!! Thank you!

a truely rare gem of a listing, 100% worth a stay

We had such a wonderful time! It was the perfect spot for our wee family to explore Sydney - close to transport networks, stocked with everything we needed, heaps of character and Alexis was always incredibly friendly to deal with. Would definitely stay again when back in Sydney!

We were very comfortable in Melinda’s house. All was as described and more. Everything needed to self-cater was there, and Melinda had left supplies and treats to ensure we were able to move in and immediately feel at home. We found the house to be modern, well appointed, secure, spotlessly clean and with very comfortable bedding. We loved the proximity to great cafes, pubs, supermarkets and the train station, and yet the area was peaceful and quiet. The area is very walkable, so we didn’t need our car. Finding suitable nearby parking for the duration of our stay was simple. Melinda provided clear and timely advice on location/access, and was responsive and clear in communication during our stay. It was clear that Melinda takes care to ensure guests are happy and comfortable. Thank you Melinda, you are a terrific host.

Wonderful stay! Katerina was an outstanding host. The house is lovely and very well appointed. We had everything we needed. Super comfortable beds and perfect outdoor entertainment deck. I was travelling with my 2 fur babies and they loved the dog friendly parks. I was very impressed with how well connected the house was to the city. Only 6 mins on the train to the CBD. We will definitely be back. Thank you again

Our stay was nothing but lovely. The place was spotless and perfect for our little family. They had a booster seat which was a great since we had a little one. Cannot fault the location, close to lots of great restaurants and near public transpo. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for having us.

Place was perfect for a short stay! Easy walk to beach and shops not too far. Place is as described, however no washing machine. Clean and clutter free. Lauren extremely helpful, responsive and accomodating.

Great little unit with everything you need & in a good location - close to Enmore Road for restaurants & nightlife and a short walk to train station. It is in a very busy area (busy road, train line right behind & in flight path of planes into airport but the double glazed windows block much of that noise. Yes you can still hear it but we don’t find it too disruptive. Comfy couch, comfy bed (but could do with some slightly firmer pillow option though), nice decor. Loved the coffee machine too. Thanks for having us.
