Loved saying at Umine’s place! She was very nice and responsive, and even let us store our luggage at her place after checkout while we continued to explore Kamakura.

We had a wonderful 8-night stay at this lovely home. The house is functional, clean, and thoughtfully equipped—not very spacious, but perfectly comfortable for the three of us. It had everything we needed, right down to the smallest details like personal toiletries and cooking spices, which made our stay even more convenient. One of the highlights was the strategic location—situated near both Yokohama and Tammachi stations, making commuting around the city super easy and efficient. Mrs. Teng, the host, is such a kind and attentive lady. She checked in on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed, and even welcomed us with fruits and snacks upon arrival—a very thoughtful touch! She also generously allowed us a late check-out on our last day due to our night flight, which we truly appreciated. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, well-located, and well-equipped home with a genuinely caring host. Thank you Mrs Teng.

Naomi was a great host from the beginning to the end. We were able to communicate with her at any time and her response was quick. She offered a comfortable, clean dwelling for us to stay and feel safe. When we traveled outside of Setegaya, our belonging were safe at her home. We appreciate her kind demeanor and would make this home a choice to revisit when coming back to Japan. Thanks Naomi for making our stay unforgettable.

10 minutes à pied de plusieurs restaurants et cafés ainsi qu'une station de train. Le logement est vraiment très beau et je reviendrais sans hésiter à cet endroit! Nous avons loué des vélos et nous avons pu profiter davantage des environs. La cuisine est très fonctionnelle et permet de se sentir comme à la maison.

Fantastic apartment with balcony area. Loved staying here for 6 nights and enjoying the local vibe. It’s a great neighbourhood and on the express line to Shinjuku. So close to the train station and everything else needed. It was interesting to watch the street below which was busy, but not noisy. The apartment had everything necessary for a great stay. Having the exceptional ramen shop “Hide” 80 metres away with 7/11 opposite it was just perfect 👌

Hoshiyama’s place is lovely! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It is very traditional which was fun to experience! The location is a bit hard to get to by public transportation but once you are there you can use bikes to get around the town.

多頭飼いしているのでAirbnbにはお世話になっておりますが、今までで1番楽しく過ごすことが出来ました！ 運動量が多いのですがドッグランで1日中走り回わりヘトヘトになって寝ておりました。 備品も設備も素敵で真似したくなる家づくりでした。 ペットフレンドリーと思えないくらい清潔です。 とても快適な犬様誕生日旅行となりました！ また是非お伺いしたいです◎

Kyoko's place was perfect for our large family. We had our four adult boys with us, and there was plenty of space for everyone in this newer unit. The kitchen and laundry machines were essential for our longer stay. The location is more of a local neighborhood, which we preferred. Easy access to Shinjuku and Shibuya, but the nearby neighborhoods and access to Shimokitazawa was really nice as an alternative to the overpopulated areas. Kyoko had great local recommendations and we felt at home in the markets, izakayas and ramen shops nearby. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful stay, the house is very beautiful, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Great location to relax and get away from the city!

Huge airbnb that we weren’t even able to use all the rooms for just two people! Located on a main street so it may be a little loud at night with trucks and cars passing by. The room upstairs gets cold at night so definitely dress warm. We didn’t know that this airbnb was located next to a cemetery so it really is personal preference if you decide to book this place. Pros: The good thing about this place is that it’s very spacious and offered full kitchen and bath with laundry! Also it was a convenient location to Mt Fuji activities.

We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to return! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt right at home. This Airbnb is a perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional Japanese charm. The private onsen was incredibly cozy and spacious, and the Hinoki wood accents throughout the house added a touch of elegance. We loved running each day at the beach, along the coast to another town, or up the river into the mountains, and simply relaxed and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Better get here first before we tell our friends about it for the same weekend!
