We live in the house close by and it is possible to borrow a cot and enough toys and equipment if desired.

The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full job and have four small children.

The original part is an Ål cabin from the 1970s, while the extension with a bedroom and bathroom was recently completed. The plot is sunny with a great view of the Dalsfjord and the sea gap. In the photos in the listing, you can see among other things the popular hiking destination Alden, also called "Den Norske Horse". In summer, there are many great swimming areas nearby, including on the pier just below the cabin.

The cabin is situated right by the ocean where you can go swiming or fishing. There are also many mountains if you want to go hiking. The pats starts right behind the cabin. The cabin has toys and everything a family with kids and babies need. Be aware that the cabin has two floors with a stair between. Two of the bedrooms are situated on the second floor.
