Orchard View

SelwynRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The finest holiday property we have enjoyed in over 40 years. Remote location, along some single track roads. About 25 minutes from Shrewsbury. The garden was not dog proof because there was access to parts where our dog would not have been welcome, which was a bit disappointing. We had to keep him on his lead. However, the lovely adjacent orchard with a 10 minute walk was dog proof. Cottages took a week to answer initial queries after booking, and only did so after we complained to AIRBNB. Eventually Cottages gave us the owners phone number. Cottages said they were short of staff to answer queries on the AIRBNB system.

Stunning setting 2 person flat rural Shropshire.

Great stay for some peace and quiet as it was tucked away between hills and woodland and surrounded by beautiful nature. The place was clean and clear instructions provided by the host! I definately had a restful time here and enjoyed the views from every window.

The Orchard Retreat ‘Ted’s shack’

JoannaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is genuinely one of the most well designed spaces I’ve ever stayed in! Imaginatively and creatively curated to make the most of every square inch so that despite being tiny it didn’t feel at all cramped. We stayed just one night for a wedding nearby so sadly didn’t get to really make use of Ted’s Shack or the hammock etc but it is such a gorgeous, private space in the middle of beautiful countryside. I couldn’t fault it! Steve also very generously allowed us an early check in and late check out. Thank you!

Stunning refurbished Grade II Listed building

AdamRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Like something out if a fairy tale, the Summerhouse is an incredible folly and property hidden away in the forest at one with nature with privacy and peace. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed ourselves so much we never ventured from the Estate except to ealk the beautiful surroundings. The house has everything you need with Welshpool and good shopping on your doorstep if you need supplies. The resident pheasant was a beautiful surprise each time he visited for snacks and we even saw a pair of large owls. For a break away from the pressures of work and life The Summerhouse offers an amaxing environment for solitude and relaxation. Thank you x

Luxury Cabin - Black Rhadley at Heather & Stone

HarrietRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We absolutely loved this place from the moment we opened the door. Everything from the meticulously sourced textiles/crockery etc that matched the setting so well to the detail in finish of the cabin etc has been SO well thought out. It was the perfect place to recuperate and relax in nature. We saw so much wildlife- even just from the bedroom window! As soon as we walked in we saw deer just behind the cabin, rabbits, foxes, woodpeckers, red kites…the list goes on. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets a stride away. The icing on the cake was the wood fired tub which was unbelievable! On our last night we had the most peaceful, still and clear night, meaning that we could see the most incredible amount of stars! Cannot recommend this air BnB enough and Trish was the perfect host. A lovely welcome with personal touches, attentive and friendly host. Thanks so much for such a great stay!

Lovely 2 Bedroom Countryside Hot Tub Retreat

FayeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The place was beautiful in a secluded area, the hot tub was lovely did take us a while to figure it out but once we sorted it out it was amazing. Some of the cutlery and plates were a bit dirty had cobwebs on and a few of the frying pans had black dirt on them maybe from previous tenants but apart from that the place was beautiful and the surrounding area was beautified

Self contained two bedroom bungalow in Shropshire

BrianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The large enclosed garden was great for our Cocker Spaniel to run round in, a large playing field was in easy reach from the side gate, on street parking was never an issue, a Morrisons Local and filling station were just down the road with a fish & chip shop next door, and walking locations were a short car journey away.
