Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Au Train Township

Barb's Airbnb was one of the most beautiful and we have rented around the world from Paris to Curacao. The setting was extraordinary with beautiful flowers, a lovely pond and a great size fire pit with a surrounding deck. In fact, there were several beautiful areas to sit or dine to enjoy the numerous birds, butterflies and hummingbirds. The interior of Barb's cabin was delightful; beautifully decorated , her photos capture the charm of her cabin well. The location is excellent to be able to see all the wonderful sites that the upper peninsula has to enjoy. As many other visitors to this beautiful home have stated, one of the most enjoyable things in the mornings was to sit either on the wrap around porch, the upper deck that overlooks the pond, the screen gazebo or the lower deck by the pond ; we enjoyed all areas. I can't imagine booking any other Airbnb when we return back to the beautiful upper peninsula.. Thank you Barb for your hospitality and your kindness .

We booked this stay last minute and we were sure we weren’t gonna find anything other than a simple motel. Well thanks to the universe providing this space open for the two nights we needed we had a beautiful, quaint and cozy space to stay during an emotional family time! I had to do some meal prep for a family event in the kitchen and it had everything needed. The bedroom was like a cozy cave and we slept the best we possibly could have on the tail end of our 2 week vacation (lots of camping. Thank you cozy bed). We didn’t use the guest bedroom, but it was clean and super cozy as well. The bathroom although small, had everything we needed. The water was “tricky” (minimally) at first but there was great pressure and temperature in sinks and showers! I personally liked that it was off and outside of the busier city but still 10 minutes to anywhere needed. All in all 10/10 and a gold star recommendation for this beautiful spot!

Cute house-It was cozy! Loved the lighting and all the plants. The fans in every room were nice to have on a warm weekend. Swings on the front patio and a hammock on the back patio were a huge hit with my kids. Thanks for the enjoyable weekend.

My friends and I met at Welch’s Retreat, the home has everything you need for a very relaxing time. It is conveniently close to many beautiful places, beaches, hiking trails, waterfalls, restaurants, and Pictured Rocks. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home.

Beautiful location with views of Little Bay de Noc. Fenced in backyard is great for dogs and the property is "green" friendly, even had pipes, papers and a grinder. For those that don't care for that smell (like my wife), no worries! She couldn't detect even a faint whiff. Huge driveway if you have your boat or ATVs and a fire pit out back. Definitely recommend if you're visiting the Escanaba area.

Cara was an awesome host, always proactive and responsive. She was very flexible with everything, the house was clean and as described, great location. I would recommend this place to anyone looking at a family stay, and would definitely consider staying here again

David’s place was immaculate. He’s a super responsive host and really friendly! He even went the extra mile when our baby monitor wouldn’t work on the 5g WiFi. Within less than a day he’d connected with the internet provider and set up a new signal that worked for our equipment! All star host! 10/10 will stay here again!

Great location within walking distance to wherever you want downtown. We enjoyed not having to drive.

We had a wonderful time at Terilynn's home. The home is well kept and clean. The grounds are beautiful and so peaceful. I wish my garden at home looked so good! Our hosts were very welcoming and informative, we enjoyed our interactions with them. We hope to visit the UP again soon and will definitely want to stay here again.

Phil is such a warm and welcoming host. The cabin was amazing! It was like going back in time! So glad we decided to stay here.

We so enjoyed this cabin! Finally an Airbnb with a comfortable bed! The pictures posted did not do this place justice. Nestled right into nature. We so enjoyed the view and all the windows from the living room. We got to see deer too! It was so nice to bring our dog and get away from it all. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The whole cabin was thoughtfully put together. Thank you so much for hosting us at this gem!

Absolutely loved our stay! The place looked even better in person than it did in the photos. It was cozy, well-stocked, and full of thoughtful touches — from local recommendations and restaurant guides to games, puzzles, and cards. We especially appreciated the foldable chairs we could take along on our hikes! Janet was an amazing host — super friendly and incredibly responsive to any questions we had. Everything about our stay was perfect. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable getaway!

Great place, great location, very clean, great communication, couldn't have asked for more. Really liked the house and its only 2 minutes from town, couldn't ask for more. Nestled off a very quiet road and great privacy. would/will stay here again.

Nearly perfect. Family hosting business, well laid out, brand new house built just for hosting. Lovely setting and view, great covered patio, water access tons of room for the dogs to run around. What more could you ask?

Such an amazing place.. my husband, son and I stayed here last summer while I was pregnant with my daughter. We just finished up our second trip, this time our daughter was 7 months old and her & my son had an absolute blast. It is so relaxing for parents, and so fun for kiddos. Our 6 year old son played outside from sun up to sun down, and then came inside to play with the legos and stuffies he found around the cabin. Never a minute of boredom, especially for the water babies. It’s also really nice having everything so close together. We could get both kiddos to bed and go to the sauna or sit around the fire while still being able to hear them. Probably the most peaceful vacation destination I’ve ever been to. We cry every time we leave. Cannot wait to come back again!! Also, the hosts..absolutely amazing! I was kind of worried about having hosts on site, because I really like my privacy but they’re so kind and helpful that it was actually nicer when they were there vs not

A Dream Getaway at Britta's Lakefront Cabin! We had the most incredible stay at Britta’s cabin on the lake in the Upper Peninsula! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene setting and breathtaking views of the lake. The cabin itself is beautifully designed and spacious made it feel like a home away from home Britta was an exceptional host—she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Communication was seamless from the start, and she provided us with helpful recommendations. She clearly cares about her guests and has thought of every detail to make the experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a relaxing, picturesque retreat with a perfect balance of nature and comfort, this cabin is the place to be. We’re already planning our next visit and can't wait to return to Britta’s beautiful lakeside escape! Highly recommend!

My Wife and I were celebrating our 10 year Wedding Anniversary with 2 other couples…Check in was seamless and response time to inquiries was almost instant during normal hours…Daniel’s place was spacious, clean, with all very modern updates…Plenty of room for 6 and more if needed…5 TV’s that I can remember, a nice walk out deck, and basement lounging area with Washer and Dryer…Fairly secluded from neighbors…There was a fire pit with plenty of wood in the backyard…A walk to Lake Superior took only 10 minutes…The Drive into Munising was only 10 minutes tops as well, where there we were able to take a boat tour of Pictured Rocks…the place was also only about 45 minutes from Marquette, where the wonderful Greywalls Golf Course is, along with good eats and a few Brewery’s…Enjoy some peace, quiet, sights, Pasties, a small casino 1/4 mile away, Christmas every month of the year, and plenty of Whitefish Dip, all for a very reasonable price!

Had a great time staying at Frostys Lakeview chalet! The house was the perfect size for us and our dog, very clean and well set up. We appreciated the smores kit and had fun sitting by the fire in the evenings. The house is in a good location, 10 minutes from Munising and ~25 minutes from the main Pictured Rocks entrance

Great place for a family. We came here in February so didn’t get to use the pool but the view was beautiful and the house was warm and cozy.

Super comfortable, nice place to stay, we had to leave early for an emergency and Jerry was super understanding about it. He is a great host and the house is adorable!

We are so thankful we booked here. We had our wedding at Miner's beach and our original Airbnb cancelled a few days before the ceremony I found Matt's place and they allowed us to have our reception there. The house is beautiful, convenient location, and had everything we needed and more. They were very communicative and understanding. We can't wait to book with them again next year for our one year anniversary.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Heather's cabin is wonderful, with lots of space to spread out. The area was quiet, and the private road made walking the dogs very easy. Heather was very responsive to our questions, and offered great dinner recommendations. The cabin was close enough to the lake and tourist attractions, but tucked away enough so we could enjoy quiet evenings. It was too chilly to use the hot tub, but it was a bonus to know it was there. The bathroom, kitchen, and bedrooms were clean and had all the little touches that made this cabin feel like home. We will certainly book this cabin again when we are in the area. Highly recommend. Five Stars!

This tiny cabin was the perfect getaway spot. The cabin is adorable inside, and the yard was perfect for my dogs. I really enjoyed the amenities- grill, fire pit, and hot tub. After a long day of exploring and hiking, it was always pleasant to come home to the cabin. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be coming back again!

Great place to stay for a long weekend. Very grateful to be able to bring our dogs with! The jacuzzi was a nice touch as well. would stay here again!
