In a very beautiful and quiet place - in the very heart of Latgale - a renovated house on the bank of the Dubna River - where you can swim and fish (zander, pike). Sports journalist Arturs Vaiders was born and raised in the house. There is a separate sauna at the house, which can be lit as you wish - then you can run to swim. There are 2 fireplaces. There's also a pond. Only natural materials were used in the renovation of the house (insulated with wood fiber, kitchen & veranda table made from local oak). Sauna is available for an additional fee - 50eur

Korna HES guest house

The guest house is located in a picturesque place, surrounded by forest, meadows and the river Jasa. A hydroelectric power station has long been built in the vast area, which is still in operation. You can enjoy a sauna and accommodation in the guest house. One double bed and 2 single beds are available. No bed available for infants. Families are welcome, but caution should be exercised as the beds are located on the second floor of the sauna with stairs. Special care must be taken in the HPP area.

The two-bedroom apartment is in a private house with a fireplace. In heating season we stoke the fireplace before guests arrive, but all the following days must be heated by yourself. We provide all necessary for the kindling fireplace in the next staying days. The fireplace kindles easily and keeps heat for a long time. This will not affect your comfort but will make cozy and romantic your stay. I will send you all the necessary instructions on how to stoke the fireplace.
