Holiday rentals with beach access in Auroville

This was our second visit at Jhuma’s and this time we went with our parents. My parents found her home to be extremely homely and peaceful. Most of the major attractions are at a walkable distance which was extremely helpful. Jhuma is a humble host and super friendly. Most recommend!! Thanks for having us AGAIN😇😅😁

I had a wonderful stay at this charming Airbnb in the heart of White Town. The space is cozy, tastefully decorated, and feels like a serene retreat. It’s just a short walk from the beach and many of Pondicherry’s famous food spots—perfect for easy exploring. The co-host, Pushpa, is a gem—her knowledge of arts, culture, and philosophy added so much depth to my visit. I also had great conversations with Samarth, the host, a passionate sports enthusiast whose energy is infectious. This stay offered not just comfort, but a genuine connection to Pondicherry’s vibrant cultural life. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, explore, and connect!

This listing was actually the highlight of our trip. Augusteen was friendly and helpful from the get go with recommendations and connections needed for a vacation, all the way up to home cooked food vendors. The place also has close proximity to a beach walk, many cafes and high quality restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, especially families with children.

Anjali’s place was one of the best I have stayed while in South India. It was clean and tidy, even the rugs on the floor were spotless. The flat is internal which shields you from the noise outside. It is cosy and well maintained, and having an extra gate did a lot to make me feel more secure. Anjali themselves was an amazing host. She was responsive and very helpful when I needed to check something with her. Location-wise, Pondicherry is already small, but this is such a well situated apartment. There are some nearby restaurants and shops. I highly recommend!

Yaël and Vignesh place is as similar as mentioned. It’s a wonderful place for people who are traveling in group or family persons. Yaël is very responsive and she will respond you within seconds. The flat has all the amenities which are essential for living and full of aesthetics. Overall it was a lovely stay.

The house is a small but very neat and tidy place. The care taker took was very helpful to checkin and settle down. This is my 2nd time staying here and the experience was very good. Located well within city and has lots of delivery options and restaurants around. Overall I would recommend this place to others.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly supportive and made us feel right at home. The location is perfect with plenty of attractions within a 2 km radius. There’s also a convenient scooty rental service nearby, making it easy to explore the area. The flexibility with check-in and check-out times was much appreciated. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

If it were possible, I would rate this place 10,000/10 Such an incredible location with stunning ambience and remarkable architecture—truly a stay like never before. A big salute to Captain Anand for his exceptional sense of style, warm words, and friendly approach. His taste and attention to detail made all the difference. we went as a family of 5 ...we enjoyed our stay..house is beautiful with lots of social media pics 😍.. pro... beautiful picturesque cons...wifi non functional....if u expect u can see the sea from ur house or room..that's not possible,... however sea beach is 100 mts walking...fishing community there... pro....zomato zepto Swiggy all delivery possible cons..if u don't have a vehicle then sight seeing and moving about will be auto ...or rentals scooter... plenty available although... overall a enjoying relaxing stay...host doesn't disturb at all..maid comes to clean utensils... so not much complaint s. .will come back again

Our stay at Ranjith's Salt House was delightful. As a family of five, we found the space to be perfectly accommodating. The property is just steps from the beach, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it’s only 5-10 minutes from all the major tourist attractions, yet still removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. The house was impeccably clean, well equipped with all the amenities and beautifully decorated with a seaside theme, down to the smallest details. Ranjith's photographs added a lovely touch to the ambiance. There were grocery stores conveniently located just few houses away, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. Since the property is located by the beach, the absence of on-site car parking wasn't a concern. There was plenty of open space for safe parking, as nearly all the cars in the area utilized the same space. Ranjith was incredibly proactive and helpful, always just a text away. Was visiting the place with my family, they loved the place! Well planned positioning of every furniture is one thing I liked the most. Well accessible locality, right on the main road.

Our stay felt like home away from home at Kavi's place. It was beautiful, with a very well-maintained garden outdoors, and it's just a minute's walk away from the beach. and there is even an old school gym set up by the terrace, a great add-on amenity to have at an Airbnb. Kavi had connected us with some great local contacts to have a surprise birthday plan, which we set up on his rooftop. Over all a great and peaceful experience, and I would stay at the same place when I get a chance to revisit. Thank You Kavi - You have been a great host.

really cooperative and helpful host. clear view to the sea. all zomato Swiggy delivery serve at the location. some electrical fixtures like balcony fan, sockets and kitchen light needs to be fixed. else really good.

An excellent base to explore Pondicherry. In Whitetown, in a not very crowded place and close to all the major attractions. The Promenade and the Rock beach are just a five minute walk away. Many good restaurants in walkable distance. The apartment itself is very nice and comfortable. Clean rooms and bathrooms with clean linens and towels. Kitchen is equipped for basic cooking and was very useful for us. Check in was smooth and quick. Sherine is a very responsive host. We had a couple of requests which were quickly taken care of. The flip side to the awesome location is that it is across a pub/restaurant which was playing music well past 11 pm and was audible in the rooms. A concern if you are light sleeper. But all in all, a highly recommended place!

The complete privacy made it a dream getaway for my partner and me, and the tranquil setting truly lived up to its promise of exclusivity. The hosts were gracious and ensured every detail was perfect. I can’t recommend this stunning retreat enough for anyone seeking a peaceful, luxurious escape!

Pros: 1) Covered Car Parking. 2) Responsive and thoughtful host ( she kept some eatables for us during check-in) 3) AC even in the living room . 4) Necessary amenities 5) Lift 6) Far from the hustle of the crowd but still located within walking/driving reach of the happening places. Improvement points: 1) In-house RO facility ( 10L can was provided and host did fill up whenever needed) . 2) A door peep hole will help in knowing who is knocking the door before opening it to strangers. Suggestion to reach location: Please take the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Road (which takes 1 -2 mins more than Google suggested route) as the access road in between is very narrow and roadwork was going on. Overall, definitely a place to visit for a pleasant stay in Pondicherry. thanks for the nice memories. 😃
