This is a beautiful house with plenty of character. It is very well heated and has an open fireplace if that is your thing. So many interesting photos of old Canberra and retro art. Reid is so close to the city and all of Canberra’s attractions, and plenty of parking across the road. The 5 bedrooms offer plenty of flexible bedding for a small group and the big dining table is fantastic for dinners and cards!

We had a fantastic family mini break! The house was very clean and exactly as it presents in the photos. The proximity to Mt Ainslie made for beautiful morning walks. The local shops were buzzing even over what is normally a quiet wend in Canberra, and the food and beverage options at the local pub were first class. The location overall was central to everything we needed, and the fireplace and cosy living room made for some very relaxing family nights in. Finally how well stocked the kitchen was made it so easy for us to cook and ‘live at home’ happily for a few days. Thanks so much for making our stay so special, and one that felt longer than what it was. Just what we were looking for! We’ll be back :)

Thank you Joana for a lovely stay in Canberra, the thoughtful touches make this a home away from home, even for our dog who found the provided bed very comfortable.

The Host Tracy is an exceptional host who is highly responsive and attentive. Communication was seamless, and all guidelines were clear and easy to follow. Check-in Check-in was super easy and convenient. Tracy allowed us to check in early, which is very kind. The Apartment The apartment is bright and clean, with a cozy ambiance. We had a lovely three night stay at Tracy's place in Braddon during autumn. The location was very central to going to see the Pompeii Exhibition at the National Museum of Australia, Lake Burley Griffin, the Old Bus Depot Markets, the Canberra Railway Museum and exploring the city to see the glorious autumn colours everywhere. We definitely did not have long enough! The apartment was lovely to come back to and relax and you can see the glorious sunsets over Black Mountain. It's on the main road but with the windows/sliding doors closed you don't hear the noise at all. Bed was very comfortable and it was nice to be able to enjoy a swim too. Would defnitely stay again. Thank you!
