Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the view, with sun from morning to evening🌞 Great opportunities to go mountain hiking nearby, or try your luck with fishing. The popular Hauklandstranda is about 15 minutes from the rudder arch. Playing city, airport and short distance freeway to the rudder arch. If you want to try your luck in the fishing Vestfjorden, it is possible to rent a boat. In the months Jan-April the famous Lofotfisket is ongoing, and you can experience this fishing at Ballstad, which is one of Lofoten's largest and viable fishing weather.

Great area for hiking for both young and old. Great beach at Kalle and Rørvik. Hiking area within walking distance. Silsand (beach) and lean-to. The lean-to is located between Ørsnes and Hopen. We want everyone to experience nature as closely as possible. Therefore, we have built three small cabins/houses, with large glass surfaces everywhere, so that you can sit inside and enjoy the mountains, the horizon, the sea, the sunsets and the midnight sun. Now it's not always sunny on the island, so we have a nice sofa, which can be daybed too, for moments when you want to sit inside under the blanket, look at the rain and the wind, but still get a great experience of the changing nature.
