Fabulous. Spectacular. Breath taking. Phenomenal. Not sure what other superlatives I can use. Incredible stay at an incredible property with an incredible host in an incredible location. We will be back. Eight of us staying in this beautiful home. San Quirico d’Orcia is an absolute perfect place to stay in Tuscany if you are planning to go to the hill towns. Can’t recommend enough.

We loved our stay in Sara's rustic farmhouse cottage with its glorious views across the valley, little hill towns on the other side and a beautiful scenic drive across to Orvieto on one side (about 1 hour) and Todi on the other. The pool was heavenly. We only had swimming weather for the first week but we were in every day. When the mornings were cold, I also enjoyed sitting by the pool in the morning sun, reading and drinking my coffee. The garden is also beautiful and very quiet. It was so peaceful here - and what a dream to have the pool to ourselves. Sara lives in the other half of the house with Simone, her partner, and Eugene, the dog - but we never saw them (they have their own entrance) except when they were cleaning the pool. The house is full of art and ceramics, some of which are Sara's own, and we even had lunch in Todi at Simone's restaurant. Yes, the road is rough, but so are all roads in Umbria. We have a mini and the road was not a problem.

Wir haben uns in diesem italienischen Steinhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Beschreibung stimmt absolut genau und wir konnten es leicht finden. Das Haus ist toll ausgestattet und liegt sehr ruhig mit schöner Aussicht auf die umbrischen Hügel. Wer Erholung pur sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Ein wunderschön gepflegter Garten mit großem sauberen Pool machen das Ganze perfekt. Bei Fragen ist immer jemand erreichbar und sofort vor Ort falls nötig. Wir können das Casale Lucia nur weiter empfehlen und werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

A truly magical and unique stay in a castle apartment. After 24 days exploring the beauty of Italy, our arrival at Simone's third floor apartment in the village was breathtaking. This truly magnificent setting, nestled within a castle, immediately enveloped us in a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The apartment itself is not only beautifully appointed and meticulously cared for, but also boasts spectacular views across the mountain range that invited us to sit for hours, simply unwinding and soaking in the tranquility. While we ventured down the mountain a few times, we found ourselves drawn to the gentle rhythm of morning and evening walks, always culminating in a visit to the piazza to once again marvel at the stunning views Simone, our host, is simply the most considerate and attentive host I have encountered in 15 years of travel. His dedication ensured our stay was nothing short of exceptional. Grazie mille, Simone, for sharing this incredible piece of paradise with us. We depart

Palazzo Celembrini è un luogo dell'anima. Gli affreschi, le travi antiche, la mobilia di famiglia, i pavimenti in cotto: tutto questo crea un'atmosfera affascinante e sofisticata. Senza comunque perdere nulla in comodità. La dimora è stata restaurata da un anno e c'è tutto quanto occorre. Avigliano Umbro poi è un borgo vivace, soprattutto nei giorni della festa del paese che dura per due settimane ad agosto. Noi abbiamo passato le giornate nella splendida piscina della Tenuta La Mascia, pranzando lì, rilassandoci sotto gli ombrelloni e sguazzando nell'acqua turchese. La piscina è offerta con la prenotazione a Palazzo Celembrini e devo dire che ne abbiamo approfittato alla grande. Alberta è molto disponibile e gentile. Torneremo senz'altro!

Sergio’s place is really done to a high standard. The views are beautiful and in a great location to explore Umbria. Sergio is very warm and I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Spectacular view. Relaxing after a long trip thru wineries. Town was very cute and comfortable

It was wonderful time spent at this spacious and comfortable villa. Views were outstanding and it was totally what we wished for. Kitchen was completely equipped , each bedroom had own bathroom which was great. We were welcomed with basket of goodies which was very nice. Our kids had great time playing in the garden which was spacious and felt safe although there is a part of it by the road where there is no fence. It is a must to have a car , even the surroundings are beautiful it is hard to take a walk by the quite busy and narrow roads so you should drive somewhere. Overall our experience was great and it is was what we were wishing for.
