Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. Kick back in the canopy, swoop on the swings or shoot down the slide. This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

Handy to the Timber Trail and Waitomo Caves. Lots of local walks featuring waterfalls and stunning rock formations which can also be enjoyed here on the farm. Handy to Hairy Feet, film location of Lord of the Rings, a great Golf Course and the well known Berry Orchards. Not to mention a pool to cool off! We also welcome horses😊

Our Cottage is cosy, newly refurbished and fully equipped and detailed. With Mangati Walkway just around the corner, a bike ride takes 30 minutes to Fitzroy Beach/Te Rewa Rewa bridge. 'Painted Skies' is a modern two bedroom guest house situated on our 20 acre lifestyle block 3km from the Te Kuiti township in the heart of the King Country. Come and relax on your own private deck with a glass of bubbles and experience our extensive views to the west and picturesque sunsets. When darkness falls, listen to the night song of our resident moreporks and enjoy the stunning view of the stars. During the summertime you will look down upon beautiful dahlia gardens.

Detached from the main house, this is a sleepout/studio. Guests love the quiet and secure neighbourhood location. Local shopping centre with supermarket, chemist and library are 10mins walk/5mins drive from the house. We are a 5mins drive from NP airport/10mins drive to New Plymouth CBD and approx 30mins drive to Mt Taranaki. Walking distance to Bell Block Beach and the scenic Coastal Walkway from Bell Block to NP in an hour. Great for a weekend/short visit to the region.

Nikau studio Whale bay Raglan - Forest Retreat

Relax at a unique and tranquil getaway, cosy, romantic and immersed in nature. An open plan studio nestled next to a gentle stream on the native forested foothills of Whale bay, Raglan. An easy 6 min walk to the surf at Whale bay, Indicators or Outside Indicators a few mins drive to Manu bay or Ngarunui beach. Warm and cosy with a beautiful open fire, modern insulation & large double glazed sliding doors. The heat pump heats the studio within 15mins.

Quiet, cute relaxing getaway at the beautiful Urenui. Situated in the village with a two-minute walk to the river and 15 minute walk to the main beach. The property backs onto a native nature reserve, songs from the native birds are heard all year round. Situated next to the main house where my husband and I live with our 2 children.
