It was really great to stay at Scott's place in Balgal Beach. He responded within 10 minutes, extremely flexible including allowing us to check out late, allowing us to use the deck upstairs (as he was away) and suggestions for food places. The one bedroom apartment downstairs is quite big with a lounge area, a large bedroom with two double beds and a kitchen & dining area. It is very clean, neatly decorated and organized. The location of the place could not be better right across the beach and within 100m of a great fish and chips place! Highly recommended and I look forward to returning here soon.

Very family friendly kids loved the pool and outdoor play equipment that was there.Would stay there again.

Great accommodation, 9 lads stayed here with plenty of room. Pool, pool table and table tennis all a perk.

Was very beautiful but if i’m being very particular there was quite a large stain on the main-bed mattress cover that hidden beneath a show blanket. also found quite a few of the dishes were still dirty.

This is beautiful accomodation and a great location. It is high end quality accomodation with full galley kitchen, modern bathroom/laundry and large living space. Outdoors relaxing deck space, plus pool. Marguerite was the best host greeting us and checking in that we had everything we needed. Loved the friendly pets, chickens, wallabies, curlews. Very clean and modern unit attached to the owner’s house. Rod was very helpful and responsive in getting me sorted and checked in. The unit is super modern and is well equipped with any appliances and amenities you might need. It’s located down a quiet street, within walking distance to the bus stop and local cafes, with a walking track to a lookout very close by. Cannot express enough how welcoming Rod was and how homely the unit feels. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay over at the island.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Railway Estate. The location was perfect, quiet, close to the river, and just minutes from Townsville CBD, The Strand, and the stadium. The house was clean, well maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay including air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen. The hosts were friendly and responsive, making check in easy and stress free. It’s a great base for anyone visiting Townsville for work or leisure. I have to say Jane has been nothing but amazing I appreciate everything she has done. My son and I move from Sydney and Jane has been extremely accommodating extended how stay. I recommended Jane’s little cottage it’s has everything you need. My son especially loved the chickens.

Comfy beds, lots of staples supplied in the kitchen and just up the road from Mt Louisa Walking track.

Di was an amazing host. She knew we were on a long road trip and proactively checked in with us with updates on flooding south of Townsville and road closures. Di was also very accommodating of our two dogs and our stay was very comfortable.

We really loved the place. We were able to spend the days out and about the adults could relax at home while our 2 year old played outside in the cozy cupe or with a variety of toys inside. The place was clean and so comfy.

Very hospitable! Was a nice place to stay in and nick was very lovely. I left my handbag after check out and the cleaner came and dropped it off for me which was really nice also!!

We reserved Laura’s place for 5 weeks while on a university placement in Townsville and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The home was very comfortable for 3 people to stay and had everything we needed. Every room is air conditioned and comfortable. It has a large kitchen with everything you need which meant we didn’t need to purchase any cooking utensils or other items. The entire house is very modern and comfortable. The location is also very peaceful and safe with a bonus of it being very close to the cowboys stadium and CBD. The home is on a large house block with a beautiful back yard which was nice to look out to. I would recommend this home to anyone needing to stay in Townsville for work, university student placement or other.
