Holiday houses in Ba Bể District

Harry's family are very friendly and made us feel very welcome! The place is very peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful scenery around the lake and the boat trip with Harry's father is really great! We were welcomed as if we were part of the family. A special mention to Harry's father, with whom we exchanged a few shots ;)

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit schönem Blick Richtung See. Die hinterlegten Google-Koordinaten stimmen leider gar nicht. Am besten die Koordinaten nochmals schicken lassen, falls eine individuelle Anreise ansteht. Das Essen, welches von Thuan‘s zubereitet wird, ist einfach sensationell. So lecker und schmackhaft!! Überhaupt ist die Frau die gute Seele des Hauses. Immer ansprechbar, hilfsbereit und so liebevoll! Ein eigenes Badezimmer gibt es nicht, das sollte man schon wissen. Und wenn alle Zimmer belegt sind, wird es schon eng. Ich würde auch Abstand davon nehmen, bei so vielen Zimmern noch von Homestay zu sprechen. Aber das mag Ansichtssache sein. Ich habe ja trotzdem die fünf Sterne gegeben, weil es eine schöne Zeit war. Vielen Dank 🙏🏽 dafür!

Die Unterkunft hat einen malerischen Ausblick, die Zimmer sind ordentlich, aber eher spartanisch, denn es fehlt ein Kleiderschrank. Leider wollte sich Thuan das Frühstück bezahlen lassen, obwohl das laut AirBnB inklusive ist. Außerdem war das Abendbrot unverschämt teuer, 240.000 Đống. Zum vergleich: eine große Schüssel phố kostet in Hanoi 40.000 Đống.

Die Gastfamilie ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, trotz des schlechten Wetters. Vielen Dank für alles!

Un accueil extraordinaire Une famille très chaleureuse Un emplacement fantastique

Our stay was an absolute delight! The view from the room is worth it all on its own! But more Luan was a most kind and helpful host. He went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable and arrange activities for us even though it overlapped with a local holiday. He took time to talk with us and explain about local customs and the holiday. The lake is a quick motorbike ride and we enjoyed kayaking and a boat trip he arranged for us. I would highly recommend! He also has excellent English so if you don’t speak Vietnamese there won’t be an issue.

Ba Be lake exceeded my expectations with its natural beauty surounded by mountians the village is so quiet and the homestay nicely located with views over looking one of the streems running to the lake and rice fields and close to a sports area for badminton and volleyball witch i joinded in with the locals and other visitors for games each afternoon. The homestay was clean and comfortable the food great and more than i could eat and the local rice wine was pretty tasty compared to the comercil stuff. Did a boat cruise down one of the rivers feeding into the lake that flows through a cave under a mountain befor entering the lake where they stopped the boat to let us swim over to a small island. With barriers set up on the roads to keep trucks off the roads in and around the area its a great place to walk cycle or hire a moto to explore the other small villages creeks caves. When i left after 3 days i was thinking this is a place id like to spend a week or two at.
