Holiday rentals with a patio in Bacalar Lagoon

Guillermo and Diana's place is our "go to" place in Chetumal when we want a peaceful accomodation. It's just steps from the bay in a very walkable and safe neighborhood and close to a taxi stand and a Walmart mini mall. The neighborhood is exceptionally friendly and 30 pesos gets you to the heart of Centro and the Muelle Fiscal.

I love the accommodation. It's to my liking, very good for vacationing since you have many things nearby, everything works and the accommodation is always clean, also very well thought out to enjoy. In the case of the hostess Claudia, she was super friendly at all times, always recommended things to do and was also attentive every day to see if we needed anything. The truth is, the service was great, and in the end I ended up discovering many good places thanks to her recommendations. I would definitely go back to Bacalar without a second thought.

Carlos gave perfect instructions for our arrival. The lodging was excellent and as described. The resident dog allowed me to give it pets, which was an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

5 stars for the hosts’ flexibility and willingness to accommodate our changing schedule. The place is as described, and as noted by others: a good pad to explore Bacalar and not a long term stay option, per se. Everything was clean and worked well. The parking is behind a secure gate, and everything feels safe about the location. A nice walk into the town that takes you past a lot of “real Bacalar”.

I want to thank Isaac and Israel for their hospitality and attentiveness, always thoughtful and available to us. The property is beautiful, very well-kept, extremely clean, with excellent maintenance and many details that make a difference. In summary, it exceeded our expectations. The published photos are beautiful, but the place is even better. Our gratitude to the hosts, and we 100% recommend this accommodation.

The place is very nice, the facilities are just as they were in the photos, we felt very comfortable. However, in the description they do not accept pets, but in the place there are 4 dogs and about 4 cats, although it is very nice to see them and they are very sociable, in the common areas you saw their urine and feces. We also used the grill, which is amazing that you can use it, however one of the kittens was there right next to the grill waiting for the meat, which makes it a little uncomfortable since you can't be careless for a second. Other than that, the place is very nice, the green areas and the pool.

Whenever I come to Chetumal and find your space available, I rent it without thinking, the place is super comfortable to rest and work

Amazing place a very beautiful house nice backyard pool looked nice sadly it was dirty and had some white specs in the pool but other than that the location was great seemed safe and all around just a nice place to stay.

Everything was perfect for our 6 nights in this very well-equipped house for a large family. The rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, the kitchen well-equipped and everything was very clean. We were welcomed with great kindness. We went to Bacalar every day by car, only 30 minutes away. The house is a 5-minute walk from the supermarket or laundromat. Very good value for money. Everything was great!

It’s such a nice place, everything was perfect! The location was very close to the seven color lake and there are many nice restaurants and cafes around the house. Grocery shops/fruit shops are walkable distance. I would come back again 💯💯💯

The place was exact as we imagined, the unpaved entrance road, but it's normal for a private place and by the lagoon. Verónica received us super friendly, we checked in very late at night and she was attentive and explained everything in detail. The place is very clean, the towels super clean, the beds too. As a note: They need an oversize or bedspread on top of the bed sheet, but other than that, everything is fine. It's a rustic place and I really liked that I didn't have a TV to appreciate the beauty of the area. I work remotely and the wifi worked perfect at all times. Victor (the host) is super helpful at all times and with a very quick response to any questions. Recommended if you go as a couple without children and you are looking for something very simple as you think you are out exploring the area.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Leonel and Brenda were super responsive and friendly. The location is *amazing*. There are only two public access piers to the lagoon and the apartment is opposite one so we spent many mornings watching the sunrise over the lagoon from there. The place was comfortable and clean and has everything you’ll need for your time in Bacalar. (:
