Hostel holiday rentals in Balkan Mountains

Hostel adjacent to a pub, 20 min walk from the station. Flexibility at check-in and checkout. I stayed in a room with six beds (but I was alone, so wonderful), comfortable bed, quiet place, the bathrooms are outside the bedrooms, separated between men and women, with showers and soap. Clean spaces. Coffee availability at the front desk. Professional staff and very nice and friendly. The only downside is the personal cabinets without keys, in case there are more people in the same room. I recommend it!

The perfect place to stay for a couple of nights and check out Stara Zagora. Everything that you'll ever need is super close - couple of blocks away.

This is a nice little hotel with many rooms. Everything good although the shower is a little awkward and it's a little difficult not to have water everywhere. The Wi-Fi was strong enough. It's around 15 minutes from the University Station.

Hostel was sparkling clean with very kind staff. Good location and non stop reception.

The stay was great, the hostel is close to the city center and the host was very helpful and kind. Definitely would recommend.

Everything was great. Great service for the public, very nice and resolute. If I had to make a glitch, it would be necessary to deposit a security deposit for the use of towels or keys. Anyway, that doesn't look out for the experience. Very good stay. We left very happy.

Hostel Musiala is beautifully located in the middle of old town. The host helped me a lot to organize e.g. flight ticket and transfer, there is a nice breakfast and beautifully decorated rooms. I would come back anytime.

Everything was great, I arrived in Varna late, they left me instructions on how to get to the hotel and the room without administration workers, which I did when I checked in and out. Everything was great, thanks for the help.

Hostel is as described and 15 minutes away far from the main points of the city. Hosts are very friendly and helpful.

It's a hostel and somehow if I use airbnb it's because I don't want to go to a hostel but it was all ok and I didn't encounter any problems. Recommended

We stayed in the hostel for 2 nights in a separate wooden 2-bed house and were very satisfied. This is generally a huge plus of the hostel that there are not only rooms for a large number of guests, but also a few small ones. For those who like us plan to travel all day through the beauty of Jerdap, this is a good, economical option to relax and spend the night. There is a spacious common area, both inside the room and in the courtyard with tables and seating for relaxation. Clean WC and a shower. No towels, don't forget to take your own. Just across the street, literally 3 minutes away is a small clean sandy city beach. The promenade, bakeries and restaurants are within walking distance. Very convenient for leisurely cozy evening walks. Literally through 3 buildings is the tourist information center and museum, where the staff are very detailed about how to get to each landmark and viewpoints. Bikes and boats are available at the hostel. Separately, I note that this was the only place in Donja Milanovce, where it is possible to check in with a dog, which adds to the bonuses to the establishment!:) Many thanks to the hosts for their hospitality and coziness! Would definitely recommend this place to other travelers.

The inn is and has everything you can expect. The room seemed pretty, super spacious, clean and the bed was super comfy. The living room has a very nice atmosphere, typical of this type of hostel. The bathroom surprised me because it has the shower and WC in the same compartment, but it was clean, it is fully functional and the water came out hot. Also, Martín let me store my backpack at the reception for the next day (after checking out) so I didn't have to carry it while visiting the city. Also around I could be a little bit in the living room. All a detail. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

A very nice little box , with a large and very comfortable bed, with a nice bathroom right next door. The accommodation is close to the center, the beach and any tourist attraction. Communication with Mila was very easy and was always responsive during my many, I recommend this listing for a short trip to Varna!

So I’ve spent many nights, in many hostels around the world and by far one of the best places I’ve stayed. The host was amazing the people during my stay amazing as well. It was clean and exactly as described but better! Not only was the property great but in all fairness the host made my trip! Next time I’m in Bucharest there will not be another choice for me 5 stars all the way !

Great place and a very kind host.

If I had to use all the adjectives to qualify my stay at Swed, there wouldn’t be room enough for me to do it. In spite of Varna being an amazing littoral for you to spend your holidays, staying at Swed will make it much more memorable. From the beginning to the end of my stay, I did not expect that my first time in Bulgaria would be that amazing. I have rarely experienced such a warm and caring welcoming and treatment from the owners. (Something you won’t find in any hotel). Furthermore if you’re looking for the best spots and tips such as bars and beaches, they’ll be happy to give them to you.. The hostel is ideally located in the city : at the end of the street you’ll find the groceries store, you’re in about 15 min away from the beach by walking and 10 min from the astonishing Orthodox Cathedral. I first had 6 days to spend in Varna at Swed, and taking into account all these factors, I’ve liked it so much that I had to extend two times my stay. I utterly recommend to choose Swed.
