A quirky property with two double bedrooms, open plan living/dining with a wood burning stove and fully equipped kitchen. The equine theme is evident in the design. There's a private south facing garden with access to all of our site with panoramic views over Co Down. Off road parking. Horses and dogs welcome.

Converted stone barn adjacent to farmhouse in lovely countryside close to Strangford Lough, yet only 30 minutes drive from Belfast. Self-catering, open plan accommodation. On the ground floor, a sitting/dining area and kitchen. On the upper floor a sleeping area with double bed , and shower room. There is also a sofa bed on the ground floor. Our 13 acre smallholding is a wildlife friendly oasis and guests are welcome to relax in the large garden or walk around the woodland and meadows.

What a beautiful place to be! The cottage is very comfy and cosy and had everything we needed. We had a lovely time walking and driving around to see the beautiful surrounding area We found some lovely friendly places and people in nearby Portaferry and had a great day getting the ferry over and exploring Stangford and around. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts - would stay again and would definitely recommend 😀

The stay was very comfortable and in a beautiful setting. The quality of the apartment was high, as was the furniture and kitchenware etc. The grounds were spacious and well maintained. The hosts were very responsive and gracious. I would recommend this property and will likely stay again when I'm up in those neck of the woods.
