Charming apartment at the entrance of the Emmental

Rural and yet not far from any civilization lies our small living and garden dream. The old stone house is located in Ersigen near Burgdorf BE, a twenty-minute drive from Bern. In the village there is a café, three restaurants and a farm store. The bus to the nearest major shopping facility leaves every 30 minutes during the day. We occupy the second floor of the house and rent two rooms with kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. We are happy to answer any questions you may have!

Art Nouveau villa built in 1912 with large terrace 20 m² and garden is located on the mezzanine floor a large shared apartment 80 m² with everything your heart desires. We take care of the ambiance. Close to the center, yet very quiet. There is a church nearby, but you can't hear anything from inside. It stops ringing at midnight. In addition to the lakes, the Swiss Jura, cities such as Interlaken (1 hour), Bern (30 minutes), Lucerne (1.25 hours), Rheinfall (2 hours), Basel (1.25 hours), Montreux (1.25 hours) invite you to explore. The garden with 2 seats, including a fireplace, invites you to linger and play (table tennis, vehicles, foosball, etc.). On cooler days, a Swedish oven creates a wonderful atmosphere.

In our Stöckli you will live as in Gotthelf's times but with the comfort of today. The wood-burning stove provides a cozy warmth. The whole house is at your disposal during your stay. In addition to your very private outdoor seating area, you can also use the large flower garden with various seating options. The flower garden is publicly accessible, so it may well be that you also meet other connoisseurs in the garden.

The apartment is ideal for walkers who make the trek of the Chemin des Crêtes. The place is very quiet and relaxing because the house is at the end of the street. It has a lovely view of the fields and nature. A spot with private barbecue is available in the warm season. The village is 10km from Biel and Granges, it is served a few times a day by a bus. Unfortunately, there is no business in the village.

Served by public transport, this studio enjoys a prime location in Bienne, close to shops, Swiss Tennis, Rolex and Omega watch brands, as well as the Tissot Arena.
