We loved our stay! Luke was a very responsive host. The cottage was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we loved having access to a hot tub and sauna. They anticipated anything we would’ve wanted during our stay (coffee, tea, extra towels for the hot tub) and provided clear instructions and recommendations. I would stay here again, and I would recommend this place to others looking to stay somewhere peaceful yet still near everything.

This cottage is absolutely gorgeous!! It has so much to offer with a beautiful view on the lake, a hot tub, a fire pit area, a beautiful walking trail, and so much more! It was the perfect place to celebrate a bachelorette weekend and so many amazing memories were made here. The host was very helpful and always answered any questions. The house was stocked with lots of cooking supplies and cleaning products that made it easy to stay there. I hope to be able to come back to this cottage in the future because it was the best weekend!!

The home was perfect for our family. Even though the weather was cold and rainy, we enjoyed the fire and hot tub. And we had one brave taker on a fishing trip on the lake with the paddle boat. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were comfortable. The home was very clean. We were able to drive a short distance to a state park for a hike, a visit to Stillwater for some cute stores and a beautiful winery on the way. We would definitely stay again

We had 7 girls stay here for a bachelorette weekend getaway and we LOVED it! The house is so full of historic charm while still offering a fully modernized kitchen, bathrooms and entertainment systems. We loved being far enough away from the busy downtown Stillwater scene to enjoy a little sanctuary time, but also being close enough to either drive or walk (about 20 minutes walking) to get downtown to all the fun shops and restaurants of DT Stillwater.

The hosts, Katie and Curt, were very friendly and responsive. The hot tub on the patio was a big bonus. I also enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and watching the trolley go by through the woods ($3 to take the short historic ride). And just a few minutes to walk to Lake Harriet pavilion to take in some live music or walk around the lake. I’m excited to come back sometime for this relaxing get-away!

Nathan’s place was great! It’s walkable to downtown Stillwater, and the home itself is funky and fun. Nathan was a kind and responsive host, and he accommodated our needs well. Definitely worth the stay. Thank you!

Perfect place for our quick mini-moon getaway. Nice and cozy on a quiet part of the lake, where I was able to fish off the dock (caught a few including a bass and a northern) while my wife and dog watched while reading a book from the comfy outdoor lounge chairs. The house had everything we needed to cook a few meals and a nice coffee maker for our morning coffee and tea. The house was also extremely clean and everything was in working order. Hayward itself had plenty to do, despite us being about a week early for most of the summer activities. Donna was a very easy host to work with. She reached out prior to our trip with instructions for check-in. She also proactively reached out to make sure everything was going smoothly. We would highly recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a very nice, dog friendly, stay on the lake.

Cherri is very responsive which was much appreciated. The place was a little hard to find at no fault of the owners, but once we did we were set for the week. We had a boat lift to use which was a value add for us. There are several stairs down to the lake but the view at the top is gorgeous. Great restaurants to boat and the sand bar is not far to boat the grandkids out to enjoy the lake. Our dog was right at home too. Thank you Cherri and Paul for your place for the week, we had a very nice time.

This cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s located on a quiet street yet convenient to shopping. The kitchen and bath are fully stocked and it’s all very clean. We are already planning to come back.

It was the perfect home to enjoy time on a quiet lake with family. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for throwing an impromptu celebration dinner. Was very impressed with the communication and the set up overall

Loved this cabin. Unfortunately, it rained most of the weekend, but while we didn’t get to do what we had envisioned we were still able to catch some rainbow trout on their beautiful grounds and played a multitude of games they had for at the cabin. Sere is super responsive to any needs. Highly recommend all around.

My husband and two boys came here to visit. The inside was everything you could need with lots of sleeping arrangements. The outside was phenomenal. Large outdoor area, two docks, close to boat ramp, lots of off the doc fishing. the kitchen was well stocked. We were fortunate to have great weather, but they had other things to do in town in case the weather was bad. Aimee was very responsive. We have never visited an AirBNB twice because we like to try new things, but we would absolutely come back here.

The house was super clean, exactly as described. Peaceful, quiet area. The beach areas were very nice and we had them to ourselves basically. The golf course was great and the PAR3 course was great for the kids to try. Caught tons of fish straight from the shore, the club house is walkable, overall it was great, would highly recommend.

If you ever want a true lake house experience with all of the fun but none of the dreaded lake house chores this is the place for you. It’s cosy and comes with all the amenities. The owner is a genuinely nice person. You are within driving distance of several “oh fer cute” Minnesota towns and the lake is right outside your door!

The house is gorgeous and exactly as described. The weather was too good during our stay but we enjoyed looking out the windows all day and seeing the animals and birds enjoy the bird houses. We also liked seeing people enjoying themselves on the lake. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything you could ever ask for.

Perfect for our family! Loved the curated book selection, the fully stocked kitchen, and the comfortable beds and crisp linens.

My spouse and I stayed for a long weekend and found the location exceeded our expectations. There are beautiful trails on the property, including a short hike to a beach river access. We read books and relaxed on the front patio and stayed up late watching episodes from the big comfy couch. We explored many of the local towns, Stillwater, Osceola, Taylor Falls, and Sioux Falls where we found nice walks, hikes, restaurants, and activities. The house had luxurious bedding and nice touches like fun art, playful colors, and retro (but nice condition) furniture. We definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our Minimoon here. Was great. Nothing bad to say, other than we clearly didn’t thoroughly read the posting because we were shocked that it was a guest house! Our fault. But anyway, very clean and nice! Would for sure recommend.

Kathleen was so kind, helpful and responsive. The location is so peaceful and ideal for rest, rejuvenation and creativity. And close to many things to inspire you and to enjoy if you’re in need of an adventure. Rustic is all the right ways. I definitely hope to visit again.

The weather was warm enough this time where we got to enjoy smores on the campfire and sat on the dock to watch the beautiful northern lights play across the sky.
