FredrikLars-gården next to Nordmarksbergs Manor: 19th century or older. At this farm, great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (f. 1747 – d. 1790), you'll learn. On a rock in the property of the farm, there should be a carving with Nil's name. The picture of this stone is located in the photo archive of Värmland on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but have not been found in the present. Likely it is hidden by brick that has been covered over the rocks.

This is a cosy stuga without electricity and no running water built in the traditional way. There is a woodstove to heat or prepare meals as well as a 2 ring gascooker. A sleeping loft with two single matreses who can be put together. There is a outside toilet on the premises as well as a Finnish wood heated sauna . Lovingly converted workshop in formerly Stallgbäude

The apartment is located in a 100 year old barn of an idyllic, 26 soul village in the midst of (almost) unspoilt nature on the edge of the Lüneburg Heath. It's an area with no superlatives. Everything very normal without big attractions. But this is exactly what we really appreciate in this area. Lots of nature, wide view and little distraction. It is a place where you can unwind and gather strength.
