This in-law apartment located in the lower level of my occupied home is just moments outside of Annapolis, mere blocks from the Magothy River. I enjoy inviting guests into the space, and take pride in treating new friends like family. Come rest your weary bones in your private retreat with its own separate entrance, relaxing sunporch, and stocked kitchenette. Reach into the fridge and enjoy cold soda or a local beer on me! This apartment is located in the historic section of Takoma Park and it is a 7-minute walk from the Takoma Metro Station, 10-minute walk to downtown Takoma Park. Metro ride to downtown DC is 25 minutes or less depending on destination. You will enjoy this fully furnished apartment because of the well-lit living area with garden views, fireplace, screened patio, comfy bed, and peaceful environment. The apartment is terrific for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and small families.

A luxury English basement decorated with artwork from our global travels and laid out by a professional designer. We are just a short walk from some of the trendiest areas of Washington's burgeoning night life, with the bars, restaurants and clubs of Shaw and Ledroit Park just round the corner. We are a short ride from the Capitol, the Mall and the White House, in a leafy area that is central but discreetly set away from the hubbub of downtown. We also have off street parking for our guests!

Due to unfortunate recent misses with guests, I will consider requests only from people with at least three reviews and a rating of 4 stars or higher. This is an open plan, modern end unit is across the street from National Zoo and Rock Creek Park. It's on two bus lines and walkable to Mt. Pleasant, Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights and Cleveland Park. The apartment has a full kitchen, dining area, bathroom, smart TV and cable and wifi. Afternoon sun, chirping birds and roaring lions are free!

The south-facing, 2nd floor 1-bedroom apartment of an owner-occupied historic townhouse overlooks historic Union Square Park in Baltimore City. Located 2 doors from the author, H.L. Mencken's home place, the neighborhood is primarily residential , but very convenient to the Inner Harbor. The apartment has a full kitchen (with light breakfast items), historic details & eclectic furnishings. Street parking is easy. The space is good for couples and solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Bayview is very close to Greektown, Little Italy, Fells Point and Canton. Each of these commercial developments are no more than 1-2 miles from Drew Street. Restaurants, the waterfront and shopping districts are all located in each of these developments and provide a wide array of tastes and treats. Therefore, if you are a foodie, like wine/beer, antique shops or like to hear a band or singer every once in a while, you can definitely find something to do and travel via Uber, Lyft or Taxi.
