This place is absolutely adorable. The details and decor felt like staying with a friend not at a hotel. Spent most of our time on back porch enjoying the birds, jackrabbits and other wildlife. Went for a great hike and enjoyed some live music, shopping and dinner downtown. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to get out of the city and relax.

Great place, and Cathy is great. Only main thing that bothered us, which we may have missed during booking is the trash you have to take off the property and pay at their garbage disposal place on certain days of the week or take home.

Look no further! This peaceful, relaxing retreat is fantastic! The pool is perfectly situated in the serene backyard. Spend the day in Fredericksburg, and the next in San Antonio. There’s so much to do just a short drive away. Our group loved staying at this house and cannot wait to book again!

We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy nature, especially birds, and we wanted to be close to Lost Maples State Natural Area. We hit the jackpot! Creekside Lodge exceeded our expectations. The location is beautiful and private. It was a challenge to tear ourselves away from the porch overlooking the creek. The variety of bird species was truly amazing. The house was spotless and charming. The WiFi was terrific. We stayed on the porch until 9:00 p.m. each night so we could listen for the call of the Chuck Will’s Widow. It was hard to leave this wonderful cottage today; we will definitely book it again.
