Very welcoming host. I Like the place, quiet on my first 3 nights. 20 mins walk to Gaisano mall. I like that i get to walk everyday to Plaza to spectate the festival. Shared Toilet and Bath and Kitchen. No Shower Heater at the moment. Free tea and coffee, you can also cook. and I slept well. 😊

Erlinda’s place is beachfront to Jawili Beach. Jawili Beach is sandy and on a cove so perfect for a dip and swim. You coud do early morning or evening walks since it is a long stretch of beach. Things to do: take a dip or swim at Jawili Beach and follow with dinner at Cab’s where you could do a bit of fishing too; visit Katunggan It Ibajay Mangrove Ecopark (1.8 km loop where you could see different species of Mangrove local to the area) followed by lunch at Kanyugan Restaurant and quick drop by nearby wildlife rescue center (at the time of our visit they had a wild boar and couple of eagles) and the Tangalang lookout; explore Jawili Falls and Afga Waverock formation. I hope to come back again to Tangalan and stay at Erlinda’s place.

This is the place where you have to stay if you are in Kalibo. Family owned place, it feels like you at home. They are so friendly and helpfull. Cood locations, near airport and lot of good restaurants.

The host and staff are very welcoming! We were given an upgraded accommodation of 3 rooms (1 bedroom unit with amenities) for a group of 7. Each bedroom has a double and single bed. We love the honesty store and the breakfast in the morning is so worth it for just an additional P150 ($3). It’s in the center of Kalibo so your needs are within reach. If we are coming back for the Ati Atihan festival, we will definitely stay here. Btw, we booked an overnight in Kalibo for our Boracay trip since the Cebpass has no available seats for a direct flight to Caticlan. Kalibo has cheaper flights and with this great accommodation, it may be an option. It’s just 1.5 hours by van to Caticlan jetty port.
