Perfect place to stay. Very well equipped, super clean with a great host. Sally was great at responding to queries and was there to welcome us and show us where we could store our bikes.

Cosy old cottage conversion

KathrynRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Absolutely loved our stay at Derwen. It's a beautiful old building off a stunning cobbled courtyard behind the main house. Lovely outside seating for warmer weather. The cottage itself is cosy and welcoming and we really appreciated the breakfast hamper and treats for our dog. Jan and Roger are a lovely couple with lots of helpful hints for the local area. Bangor-on-Dee itself is a beautiful little village with two pubs and a village shop, all were used. The church and bridge are lovely and there are lots of good dog walks nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful hideaway within reach of adventure

DavidRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely ideal for those looking for a couple of relaxing days- very quiet, peaceful and furnished with everything we needed -the welcome pack of bread,,milk, eggs etc was a great touch.Communication before and during our stay was first class. Two decent pubs in village which are about 10-15 minute walk are ideal for food & drinks.Mark and Gaynor got the balance spot on of being there and helping with anything we needed with nothing seeming to be too much trouble for them in making our stay thoroughly enjoyable whilst respecting our privacy- wonderfully accommodating hosts with a great property.Thank you.

Cabin with Kitchen & En-Suite - Chester / N. Wales

RhiannonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I had a great stay at this lovely cabin while working in North Wales. It had everything we needed — a full kitchen, super comfy bed, fast WiFi, and a beautiful garden that was perfect for the dogs. The location was ideal, with shops and a nice pub just a short walk away. The hosts were really friendly, and the place was very reasonably priced. I liked it so much I’ve already booked one of my staff members to stay here, and I’ll be returning myself in a few weeks for another work trip. Highly recommend!
