This is a great place to stay, the accommodation is spacious, clean, and well equipped. Downstairs is a salon with a lot to offer and helpful staff. The owner worked extra hard to provide us with anything we needed and fix any problems, I was also allowed to check in early and check out early in the morning. You're just a few minutes from the city centre, and you have lots of availability for food and shopping. Downsides are the hot water was unreliable, and the price is a lot for SJ. I had a great stay though and it's my favourite place to stay in SJ!

We booked via AirBnb at least fifteen minutes before we arrived as we were seeking for a quick overnight stay for our business trip in San Jose. We searched for different hotels and inns in the area, unfortunately their rates were high and some of the inns doesn’t look good and smell terrible, especially the ones near the bay. Good thing I’ve found Ms. Aileen’s listing. The rooms were tidy; there’s a cable TV, mineral water dispenser, water heater. Flat irons available upon request, free of charge. Free coffee and tea also available, would be better if there’s free creamer too, but I thinking that would be asking for too much, besides you can purchase creamer on their small store. Complimentary breakfast is a plus. Loved the taste of longganisa, especially its sauce. The A/C was working well, however there were instances when the A/C would become unusually loud, especially when you change its settings, but it’ll quiet down after a short while. The place was very clean, WiFi was good but the signal didn’t reach our room which is Room #1, so I had to go to the common area/kitchen to connect to the internet. There’s also free parking but the parking inside the premises can only accommodate 3-4 vehicles. There’s also parking outside but I do not know the place enough if it’s recommendable to park outside, community is very quiet though. The icing on the cake was how hospitable the people were, given that we only booked 15 minutes we arrived, we were quickly accommodated. Ms. Aileen was very hands on. The staff were kind as well. You can also rent a vehicle if you want to, Ms. Aileen can also book you ferry tickets if you want to go to Coron, Palawan. If you’re looking for some place to stay, look no further. Couldn’t recommend the place enough. The price is a bargain compared to what you get and experience. Oh, and by the way, it was my first AirBnb experience and was not disappointed at all.

I enjoyed the stay very much, and I‘ll always consider coming back. Before I went there I researched other places nearby, and this is by far the best choice. The people in the place care a lot for visitors and are kind & friendly, even tho the price is very competitive 😁

everything a guest on travel can hope for! hospitality was very superb. it was a haven for me as i was a transferee from another airbnb accomodation that had gone wrong! the host personally fetched me and offered me dinner and breakfast, drove me to the airport the next day - all for free! the room was very clean, too!

Emilio was the best host me and my girlfriend ever had. After a lot of traveling we were already used to the philipino friendliness but Emilio took it to a whole new level. He brought us to a ferry he organized for us which would be usually unavailable. Without him we would’ve been stuck for many days. He did not care about making a extra dime + is immensely experienced in traveling and guest holding. This family owned bnb additionally offers great fresh and healthy cooked meals which we enjoyed a lot. All in all we must say visiting Emilio is a must when anywhere close to San Jose - a truly frank soul with depth. P.S. the BnB is build up like a museum which includes all of Emilios (and his wife’s) world travels with lots of stories and relicts.

We had a nice stay for one night at Aileen's, did some laundry, had a lovely breakfast in the morning, and a ride to the ferry port. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay here. Especially liked the breakfast, watertank in the room, the couch and the wifi. Aileen and her daughter were of great assistance as they picked us up from the boat and got us on a fast bus two days later. Would definitely stay here again when in San Jose. The only thing was the endless karaoke mainly by the girls working there. I know we are in the Philippines but 6 hours straight..
