Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Barbican, Greater London

Rukayat was super responsive and very helpful when checking in. The place is free of clutter, and was very clean. It’s easily within walking distance of Canning Town Station which is super convenient. Could maybe do with the addition of a tea towel to dry plates and cups used, and the arm of the sofa was a bit broken, but considering the price, the convenience, and having all other amenities we needed, we really can’t complain. Thank you for having us, we will probably be back soon!

Roddy and Manny's place was very nice, clean, and spacious. We loved the neighborhood and found a nice pub called the Crown and Anchor within walking distance. There are also a couple of bus stops nearby.

Gute Lage, 10 Minuten zum Bahnhof, gute Parkmöglichkeiten, saubere Unterkunft, bequeme Betten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Tür. Vor allem war Pom immer erreichbar und hat uns mit guten Infos unterstützt. Kurz alles war perfekt, wir kommen auf jeden wieder wenn wir in der Gegend sind

Ich hatte mich sehr auf den Aufenthalt bei Daniel gefreut und bin nicht enttäuscht worden. Ich habe noch keinen Gastgeber erlebt, dem so am Herzen liegt, Gästen eine Freude zu machen und sich willkommen fühlen zu lassen. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, das Bett perfekt, der Garten phantastisch zum Frühstücken, Bus (auf der anderen Straßenseite) und Bahn (in 15 Minuten erreichbar) ermöglichen Ausflüge in die Umgebung, nach London oder an die Küste (Brighton 45 Minuten). Als Gast habe ich vor Abreise wie gewohnt die Bettwäsche abgezogen und die Geschirrspülmaschine gestartet, aber zugegebenermaßen nicht, wie sonst, die ganze Wohnung hinterlassen, wie vorgefunden, weil man 64€ Reinigungsgebühr nicht gern verschenkt 😏 Den Aufenthalt in Daniels Wohnung würde ich Familie, Freunden und allen, die London lieben, aber etwas Abstand von der City zu schätzen wissen (das Beste aus beiden Welten) empfehlen 💯👍

I absolutely love this beautiful Edwardian flat -- the pictures don't do it justice. I instantly felt at home and this flat will be my home away from home when I visit London. The tub is to die for. The neighborhood is lovely and it is so close to both buses and a train station. The host Gemma is exceptional. So responsive and helpful. I could not have hoped for a more pleasant experience.

Stunning place! The location was perfect for exploring notting hill and west London in general! The common space is beautiful and has so much natural light. The patio was perfect for fresh air. 10/10 experience!

El departamento está estratégicamente ubicado, muy cerca de la estación de subte South Kensington y con muchas líneas de colectivo en 100m a la redonda. A pesar de ser pequeño es muy funcional y cómodo, todo impecable. Pero lo mejor de todo es la rápida y atenta comunicación con Edward, al pie del cañón en todo momento! Todo lo descripto ayudó enormemente a que nuestra estadía fuera excelente. Volvería a reservar este departamento sin dudarlo.

Anthony’s place was perfect for us - me and my two adult daughters. The neighbourhood is really nice, with restaurants, pubs and small shops nearby and well as great coffee shops. The bus to central London was so easy, we bused or trained into various parts of central London several times. Sainsbury’s and Marks and Spencer’s was within 10mins walk of his place. Beautiful home, beautifully decorated in a minimalist way.

Great house in a very handy location in Earlsfield. Anokhi was really friendly and helpful showing us round :) There were some lovely extra touches. Comfy bed and spacious room, some black out curtains would make it perfect though!

Had an excellent stay at Zak’s place. Great location with local amenities and quick access onto a nice canal walk. House was spotless and the balcony was superb to relax on.

Margaret and her husband, Morris are warm and welcoming. They both were very helpful. Margaret is responsible for their guests and she is very competent - right on top of things all the time. I found the quiet, comfortable space I was looking for. She provided a great breakfast and I enjoyed meeting them and chatting to them. Great stay.

Absolutely loved this place! It is an older house and it's clear that the host is working on making sure everything is refreshed and up to a good standard. I did not see anything that the photos did not already show. Surprisingly, it was very easy to keep warm! As stated in the description, there are stairs so it is unsuitable for a person in a wheelchair, but it should be fine for a person using a walking stick (like me). Very easy to walk to the shops for shopping, or the pub and canal for a bite to eat with a nice view! Uber's can find the place easily, which makes the rest of London accessible if you want to go further afield. Host is lovely and polite, and checked everything was ok during my stay. Strongly recommend if you need somewhere in London and it's available!

This was the first experience of London for some of my foster children and it was a wonderful location for them to explore London. The buses and tubes were so easy to navigate and we were in central London within 20 minutes. The area is amazing and really busy with everything you need on your doorstep. We loved Shoreditch Park for the dog and the amazing pancakes and smoothies at Bobo and Wild coffee shop. I slept in the rooftop bedroom, we had hot weather, 32 degrees one day, so I slept with the doors fully bolted open and it was lovely and cool at night. Laying on the sunbeds and watching the world go by was so relaxing. We all loved every minute of our holiday and would definitely stay here again. The place is truly amazing, spacious and relaxing. Philippe is a great host who always responded quickly.

We loved our stay here. The balcony was so peaceful which made it a great place to start and end our day. The neighborhood is very quiet, four bodegas just down the street, nice park, and an awesome pub, the Carlton Tavern a few blocks away. The location to the underground made it super convenient to get anywhere. Yasar was great and met us at check-in to show us around.

매우 놀라운 숙소입니다. 여행을 완벽하게 만들었습니다. 나는 수다장이처럼 이야기 할수 뿐이 없습니다. 1. 위치 나의 긴여행의 첫번째 숙소는 런던의 중심부였습니다. 이것이 런던인가 했을때, 두번째 숙소에서 또다른 런던을 발견했습니다. 런던의 오래된 멋진 고풍의 건물들을 보고 전부라 생각했지만, 이곳은 런던의 새롭고, 신식의 고층 건물과 현대식건물들 런던의 미래를 볼수 있었습니다. 고층애서 바라본 매우 아름다운 런던뷰와 밤에 반짝이는 불빛이 매우 낭만적입니다 그리고, 전철은 바로 1분거리이어서 시내중심까지 15분에서 20분이면 갑니다 . 그리고, 1층에는 마트가 있어서 매우편리하게 장을 볼수 있습니다 2. 내부 모습 내부는 정말 넓고, 한가로우며 , 모든 것을 갖추고 있습니다. 매우 안락하고 편안한 침대, 욕조가 있는 넓고 깨끗한 욕실 , 전자레지 에어프라이기, 식기건조기 등 최신식 시설을 다갖추고 있고, 모든 양념통과 맛나는 코코아까지 있습니다. 안정감 있고 매우 편리하며, 여행만족도을 높여주었습니다. 무엇보다 호스트는 최고입니다. 약간의 문제가 생겼을때, 너무나 안정적으로 일처리를 잘 해주었습니다. 능숙하고 평화로운 조력자입니다. 이 숙소는 여행을 즐겁게 해주기에 다없이 좋은 여행이었습니다 . 2정거장 가까운 까나리 와프에서 런던을 폭넓게 이해 할수 있었습니다.

We had a fantastic stay at Matthew’s place! The location was perfect, easy access to trains and bus routes, easy check in and very comfy beds! Matthew’s communication with instructions for check in were very handy and the space was spotlessly clean. The weather was perfect to make use of the terrace. We will definitely look to stay here again!

Highly recommended and great value. This was a great find. The roof terrace has wonderful views of the London skyline/landmarks and Mark was a great host. We used the buses (10 mins walk to bus stop) and Ubers to get around - both really easy from the apartment. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are modern and clean. There is lots of tech in the apartment which was fun and easy to use. The kitchen is really well equipped and the sofa is very comfortable. very minor note: People who are significantly higher than average height or width may find the rooftop access staircase a challenge. The apartment itself is really spacious.

Le logement de Luana fait partie des meilleurs que j'ai eu l'occasion d'occuper. Par ailleurs, l'environnement est très agréable et sa proximité avec la gare permet d'accéder à Londres très facilement et rapidement. Nous avons séjourné 5 jours et reviendrons avec plaisir.

I stayed here nearly a week and really enjoyed the apartment. Had everything we needed, the train station is directly below which made getting everywhere so easy!. Would recommend!

Great location and place was exactly as described. Lovely to have a private outdoor space in the heart of the city. Comfortable, clean, and convenient is about as much as you can ask for and this flat exceeded on all three!
