Holiday rentals with a patio in Barra de Santiago

Very spacious and beautiful room (I‘ve been in the new Papaya room), tastefully decorated and with own small fridge. Has AC but as the room is in the shade all day, it’s hardly necessary, even on hot days. Probably different for the other rooms. Functional common kitchen; it gets quite hot in there though. In general, hosts and other guests have been 100% awesome and respectful; I felt super well and homely right away. Went surfing with people from the hostal, and the pilates class was exhausting and effective, soar muscles guaranteed 😄. Thanks so much guys, you’re great and created a lovely travelers’ home.

Couldn't ask for a better location than this! Wonderful unit, appreciated the dedicated work space and the private patio. Milena was super friendly, very responsive, accommodating and set me up with airport transfer. Would absolutely book again, snatch this place up if you can!

We stayed 10 nights at Enrique's and Karol's apartment and were actually really sad to leave this wonderful place! The apartment is just a 2 minute walk to the beach. The terrace with a well equipped open air kitchen, some nice seating area and hammocks was perfect to cook some nice meal and relax. Beds are very comfy, AC worked well, TV with a Netflix Account for guests was provided. The apartment was generally perfectly equipped with everything you might need. We could also use the washing machine and didn't need to search for laundry service. Communication with Karol and Enrique was perfect, they responded very quickly and gave us some good advices. Thanks again! :) Some nice restaurants and tiendas are nearby. Every morning (around 7 - 9.30 AM) some food trucks pass by and sell fresh vegetables and fruits. The bus to El Tunco, La Libertad and San Salvador runs also frequently. We can fully recommend this place! Really loved it there and would definitely stay there again ♥️

Great place to chill in El Zonte for a few days and the style is in keeping with its surroundings. Spacious with high ceilings and lots of windows providing natural light. Huge bed. Really like the addition of the eco-filter for drinking water. Small town so everything is easily walkable including the beach. Not as many eateries as I’d have liked and they appear to open or close on random days/times, but what is available is more than sufficient and reflect the chilled out vibe of the town. Was usually able to get parking ok, though spaces are limited. The main downside is it’s an absolute sauna during the day and could do with more than the two ceiling fans to cool the place down a bit

100% recomendado, Tanto niña lupita como señora Maria Eugenia son muy atentas y amables, el lugar se muestra tal cual en las fotos, todo muy aseado, tranquilo, perfecto para pasar tiempo en familia y relajarse. Mi familia y yo estamos encantados! Definitivamente esperamos visitarles pronto✨

Traumhafter Aufenthalt bei Meaghan und Louis! Die beiden waren unglaublich hilfsbereit und standen uns bei allen Fragen und Anliegen zur Seite. Die Unterkunft war ein absoluter Traum – man fühlt sich der Natur ganz nah, und das ständige Rauschen des Meeres schafft eine besondere, beruhigende Atmosphäre. Der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, und die Außenküche sowie das Bad sind mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!

Lo mejor de el lugar es la vista panorámica, la casa estaba impecable de limpia, las piscina fue limpiada todas las mañanas de nuestra estadía, la comunicación fue muy buena, muy buena estadía la pasamos muy bien seguro volveremos

An absolute gem. This is what peace feels like. Waking up to the sound of birds and sleeping to the sound of ocean waves crashing onto shore is something I can only wish to experience every day. Stephen's home captured the pure essence of paradise. It was exactly as pictured. We had everything we needed. My kids enjoyed the pool so much while I enjoyed the walks by the beach when the tides were low. Nestor was so helpful to us, and it was a pleasure meeting him. Pupusas from the restaurant nearby were delicious. Breakfast hit the spot with fresh bread from the vendor riding through the street. Only thing I can advise for future visitors are the mattresses. My mother-in-law complained about the mattresses being uncomfortable in the room with the bunk beds. She has a very bad back and wouldn't recommend those beds for someone with back issues. Oh and bring mosquito repellent! Thank you for opening your doors to us, Stephen!

This place is magical! The views are unbelievable - we were visiting during the rainy season and though we got rain as expected, the lake was a turquoise color which was a magnificent surprise. The house is all glass and perched above the lake. From the main living spaces and two front bedrooms you have a 360 degree view of the lake. It was very peaceful and quiet. The infinity pool was gorgeous. We got to meet Eduardo (and his brother!) who were both super friendly and helpful with information on booking tours nearby, arranging for transportation or anything else you may need. We used the kitchen quite a bit and found it nice as the stores and restaurants are not very near. The instructions for getting to the home could not be easier-but once you get there you don’t want to leave! This space would be perfect for a large family or group traveling together. Lots of space and privacy. Thank you for sharing for our first trip to El Salvador and we hope to return soon!
