What a wonderful place to spend a winter weekend break. The stay was quiet, peaceful and perfectly serene. Everything was "as advertised" and then some! Sonja was a wonderful hostess and only helped to make the stay even better. We will, without doubt, return to Kewtu as soon as we can and I hope that you give it your serious consideration when looking for a real hidden gem so close to the city.

Our family loved staying at Annatjie's place! The landscape is breathtaking, the pool was a hit with the kids! We loved the farm and wild animals around and the hot tub under the Karoo sky was all that we hoped it would be. Wonderful people to deal with. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely and very relaxing stay at Klipspringer. The view was the highlight for us. We enjoyed the hiking trail and spent every hot minute we could cooling down in the swimming pool. The cottage was lovely and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Annatjie and Tony were great hosts, very friendly and welcoming.

We had an exceptional stay at Rietfontein Guest Farm. The location within the Touwsberg Private Game Reserve was a delightful surprise and made the experience even more special. Annatjie and Tony were incredibly warm and hospitable, going out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. A special thank you to Tony for thoughtfully arranging a fishing outing for our son—it was a highlight of the trip. We spent our time hiking, relaxing in the hot tub, and simply enjoying the tranquil surroundings. It was a truly memorable getaway, and we are already looking forward to returning.

I had the best sleep I have had in a long time at Bessie's loft. Her home and garden are most peaceful and serene. She even gave me a fog off the tree! I will definitely stay again on my way to Cape Town.

Nous avons passé une nuit étape dans le superbe logement de Mitchell avant d’ aller visiter la réserve De Hoop. Le logement est flambant neuf, super bien équipé, on pourrait y vivre à l’année… Tout est merveilleusement pensé l’attention est portée au détails (lotion pour le corps, lotion pour les mains en plus des produits habituels, petits choses à grignoter, produits ménagers,brume pour un sommeil agréable, le barbecue avec tout ce qu’il faut pour l’allumer,…) Nous avons également adoré le gout de la décoration recherché et soigné, la qualité du lit xxl (le meilleur de notre séjour) et des linges de lit super confortable!!des stores à toutes les fenêtres et la vue sur le jardin soigné avec possibilité de se garer dans la coure intérieur. Bref c’est un arrêt que je recommande sans hésiter, l’accueil a été très chaleureux également et cette petite ville est très charmante avec de bons restaurants! Merci encore

We had lovely stay at Diann's place. Everything was perfect, cottage very cosy, neat, perfect location as its close to the town with all the restaurants and coffee shop and also Bontebok and Marloth nature reserves are few minutes drive. Dianne was very friendly host who provided us with all info we needed for comfy stay in Swellendam. Next time we will stay longer.

I loved my room. super clean and furnished with anything you may need. great attention to details. the property is simply wonderful! really good breakfast. I sat next to the pool in an atmosphere of pure peace and beauty. there is a garden, and in the morning they feed the antílopes. also there is a pond where the weavers nest that is simply too beautiful. I was very sad to stop here for only a day. next time I need to stay longer.

Fantastic place close to all the wine farms in the area and host Riaan was very friendly! Place was very clean and so beautiful, inside and out!

We had a really great stay at this Airbnb. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and their dogs were absolutely sweet. We loved the beautiful mountain view and the walking trail right behind the house. We would totally recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed staying at Tradouw Guest house. Penelope and Margaret were very friendly, accommodating and helpful hosts. We loved our room, it was perfect for us for the evening, but perhaps a bit small for longer stays. Our room walked out on the garden and it was so peaceful and quiet. Penny and Margaret were very insightful of where to go, to eat and what to do. We didn't have enough time for everything but we will definitely be back and will stay here again! Such a beautiful farmhouse, with great amenities and luxury extras such as ice, milk, wood and lighter at every fireplace, reading books, boardgames and puzzles! Close enough to explore Robertson wine estates and we even drove to Montagu for a day. The house is spacious and accomodated our 2 families with young kids perfectly. Would highly recommend for a weekend breakaway.

We stayed for one night in Carolyn’s Cottage and we wished we would’ve stayed here longer! It’s a beautiful cottage which is even more beautiful than in the pictures. The check in was very uncomplicated and Carolyn always answered quickly and very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very big and clean. The cottage is equipped with everything you could need. The view from the cottage to the mountains was stunning, the outdoor area with the private swimming pool and the cute animals were amazing. The breakfast basket was really tasty and everything was fresh and beautifully served. We really enjoyed our stay here and we hope we can come back and stay for a longer time.
