Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bastimentos Island

Great over water bungalow - has everything you need. Rebecca was always very helpful, friendly, and answered very quick. Next to the apartment was a supermarket and 2 restaurants. At night it was often very loud music from places nearby. Thanks for the nice stay!

Just returning from our wonderful vacation and Marco's place and we are overjoyed that we booked our stay here. The communication was excellent and the services offered is beyond exemplary every morning. We had a wonderful breakfast prepared by Ray or Marco and I must say the passionfruit cocoa bread, French toast is to die for. They are both wonderful chefs and we had even requested Ray to cook dinner for us on one rainy day so we could just stay in and he graciously did so and the food was delicious. They are happy to arrange your tours for pick up right at the dock. In addition, though will assist you in a rating transportation if you would like to go elsewhere on the island just to peruse around. Been here at this property was the most peaceful vacation. My husband and I had ever experienced. We are so grateful to Marco and Ray and all of the staff we're making our vacation the best we look forward to returning.

Un vrai coin de paradis… atypique, accueillant, on se sent chez soi.. On a adoré la terrasse en bois qui donne l’impression d’être en pleine nature. On a adoré cette maison colorée, bien équipée, qui allie charme, simplicité, et chaleur On a adoré cette petite plage privée (rarement partagée avec d’autres locataires), plage privée si rare à bocas On a adoré le ponton, qui permet de voir aussi bien le lever que le coucher du soleil On a adoré la proximité avec petits commerces et resto On a adoré notre hôte Benson, qui a été pour beaucoup dans le fait qu’on se soit sentis si bien chez lui. I pretty much have traveled all over the world and this is my favorite place I’ve ever stayed in. The balconies are beautiful and spacious. The pool area was perfect, kitchen is big if you like to cook. The little dock is so peaceful. It’s very peaceful and quiet but not too far from other restaurants and bars. The little beach bar next door is adorable with decent food and great drinks. We loved skully’s bar which was about a 15 minute walk down the road. To get into town is very easy. We used Jose’ as our taxi driver which was recommended by Connor. Also, I highly recommend getting a private boat for the tours of the other islands. Connor gave us a good recommendation. Bogo was our captain and he took us wherever we wanted to go. I don’t usually go back to same destination twice but I will definitely be back here again.

La casa es muy bonita, y se encuentra justo entre la vegetación, con gran vista a la selva de un lado y la costa por el frente. Es pequeña, aunque adecuada para dos personas. El inodoro está ubicado justo contra la cama, por lo que no hay mucha privacidad a la hora de hacer uso del mismo

We had a wonderful stay at Red Frog Island Beach Resort, where Brett's house is located. The house is great, with a wonderful pool and grounds, large bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, and a nice kitchen. Brett was communicative, often responding within minutes of my emails. He was also accommodating when questions or challenges arose. The resort is also great! The villas are spaced very far apart within a large forested area. My kids loved seeing sloths, monkeys, and red frogs. The Beach Club restaurant has a diverse menu and reasonable prices, and is well located next to a nice swimming pool and hot tub. Just past the pool is a great beach for walking along, wading in, and even doing some body boarding. The resort has an adequately stocked store, as well as a spa. Unless you enjoy walking and have time and energy for it, I recommend renting a golf cart during your stay. Having a golf cart made it much easier to get around.

My husband and I came to Panama for the first time along with another couple. The house was perfectly appointed, so much so that we all felt like we could live there permanently. The photos scarcely do the place justice. The large porch was fabulous and we spent much of the time there. The beds were comfortable and it was easy to take a water taxi where you needed to go. Steve, the host, gave great recommendations. Pat attention to his instructions if you are staying here. Everyone made us feel very welcome. Tera and Jesse, the owners were so gracious and hospitable. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a place off the beaten path and outside of Bocas Town.

Le logement est splendide, parfaitement propre et décoré avec goût. Le cadre est tout simplement magique : au bord de l’eau, au calme, à l’écart de la route, tout en étant à deux pas des commerces et du centre. Les instructions d’arrivée sont claires et précises, ce qui facilite vraiment l’arrivée. Sophie est une hôte exemplaire, toujours réactive, disponible, et d’une grande gentillesse. Elle nous a donné d’excellents conseils sur les endroits où manger et a répondu à toutes nos questions. C’est une adresse que nous recommandons les yeux fermés !

Lucas was helpful with instructions and travel trips pror to my arrival. He and Gloria were very friendly and welcoming my entire stay. The apartment was just as described and provided everything I needed. It was great to see, hear and experience the wildlife and Lucas sharing his knowledge of the animals. It was a wonderful a relaxing 5 days. I look forward to visiting again!

Very nice place! The photos don’t do justice. About a 10 minute walk from the “main strip”. Very big rooms, two bathrooms. There is also a washing machine which was ideal! Any problems and you get communication straight away!

5 jours incroyables Alex a été très réactif, très présent, prévenant. L’endroit est superbe, entre terre et mer, vue splendide, le gîte est tellement incroyable, un vrai petit cocon, la petite minette 🐈‍⬛ passe faire son tour tous les jours, câlins bisous. On l’adore La salle de bain grande, 2 grandes chambres avec Clim, très grand espace de vie, cuisine bien équipée. Il y a tout. À proximité de resto ( ciao pizza je recommande ) Taxi juste en bas pour vous emmener en ville en 10 minutes, 3 dollars par personne pour aller en ville, les taxis sont aussi géniaux. Pour conclure, le Airbnb d’Alex est vraiment vraiment genial ! Ps : attention aux guiboles on monte légèrement, c’est sur une petite colline mais vous allez en prendre plein les yeux !

Beautiful little apartment super central. All the amnesties are available, especially a lot of cooking tools. Host super helpful and friendly ❤️ We felt extremely comfortable, definitely recommended for Bocas del Toro stay

Die Unterkunft ist ein kleiner Traum. Ca. 100 Meter vom wunderschönen Strand entfernt. Der Strand ist sauber und menschenleer. Es hat in der Nähe Restaurant und eine coole Bar. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Da es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe gibt, lohnt es sich vor der Ankunft in Bocas einzukaufen. Das Koche hier macht sehr Spass. Im Garten wohnen Vögel, ein Faultier und viele Schmetterlinge. Sehr schön und für alle die etwas Ruhe in der Natur suchen perfekt. Wir empfehlen es allen gern weiter 🥰

Der Aufenthalt bei Dan hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Meer und wenn man Glück hat, kann man sogar direkt vor Ort surfen. Das Haus ist sehr charmant und liebevoll eingerichtet und hier ist es im Vergleich zum Rest der Insel angenehm kühl, da es windig ist. Wir fanden es sehr geräumig zu viert - es hätten auch mehr Gäste Platz. 2 mal hatten wir sogar das Glück, dass uns ein Faultier direkt auf der Terrasse besucht hat - ein absolutes Highlight. Dan und Lily sind sehr nett und tolle Gastgeber! :)

Danielle's place is perfect, very clean, comfortable, is completely quiet during the night, the internet is fast.. it has everything you need for a nice stay. But the most important aspect is the location. It's basically in Colon's central area, you have the supermarket about 2 blocks, restaurants of all kind, the airport is just 3 blocks distance. This is the most perfect location, we will definitely return.

Esta fue nuestra segunda vez hospedándonos en este lugar y, sin duda, seguirá siendo nuestra primera opción cada vez que regresemos a la isla. La ubicación es excelente, el espacio es cómodo, limpio y bien cuidado, y el anfitrión siempre está pendiente de que todo esté perfecto. The place was as expected or better, the location is fantastic because it's in the center area but still not too close to the noisy places, being on the 3rd floor helped. I'd go back to Dea's place, no question about it. There are cheaper and more expensive options around but I think this is a very good sweet spot, everything was clean, we felt safe and comfortable at all times! We had no trouble with the stairs but keep in mind that if you go with someone who has difficulty walking, going up to the 3rd floor where the condo is will be a challenge, we were totally ok with that and as long as you have no mobility impediments, the place is easy to get to. There was a minimal confusion about the locking mechanism at the front door, the bottom locker was loose and we thought it would be a problem but Dea was very responsive and explained how to use the top locker, which was totally fine and eased all our worries. I would recommend it and come back as well.

Bill was a gracious host and knew the island like the back of his hand. I would 1000% recommend his place to anyone looking to come to Bocas. He’s is extremely helpful and accommodating. Thanks!
