Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Bay Islands Department

Bayside Breeze was the perfect place for our long weekend in West End! Melissa was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay, and her attention to detail shines through in this beautiful home. The layout is fantastic with upstairs and downstairs living spaces and screened porches. Our favorite spot was the upstairs porch and the swinging day bed with gorgeous ocean views. The pool was also amazing for cooling off in the hot island sun. The location is great, just a short ride into town, with many taxis available to flag down on the road right at the end of the driveway. We also really appreciated the filtered drinking water supplied in the house, so much easier than buying a few gallons every few days. Melissa is a terrific host, she was always available for any questions and sent many great local recommendations for us to check out before our arrival. Next time we are in Roatan, we will be right back here on the porch! Thanks again Melissa!

The accommodation is very nice to go with the whole family, a spacious and comfortable place with a beautiful view of the ocean, pool and a few meters to the beach, the house is furnished with all the necessary household utensils. I recommend this house with Don Geovany since he gave us very cordial attention during the stay and the prices were very affordable. In addition to renting the house with him, he got us a discount on ferry tickets and a special price on the vehicle rental!

We stayed 8 days at Pauli's Rbnb, and it was a spectacular week. The accommodation was exactly as described, pauli even facilitated some beach chairs and it was a hit! because we were able to spend the whole day at the beach without problems, the rental of the vehicle with Pauli super recommended, was very helpful and we were able to tour the island very easily 👏

10 out of 10 I would most definitely use Conrad’s Airbnb again and with me being a travel agent, I would hands-down recommend this specific Airbnb as well as the host to anybody that I would personally send to Roatan. Overall communication was great. The host was great. The amenities were great. The location was great. I don’t feel like my words can express the amount of peace Joy and COMFORT we received with everything.

Really enjoyed Casa de YOLO! House was spacious, clean and had most everything we needed. There is construction of houses going on around the space but it didn’t disturb us too much. Definitely recommend communicating with Traci or the propriety manager Cheryl ahead of time as the first day finding the house was a bit difficult. Also you’ll want to rent a bigger car as one of the main roads leading to the house is gravel.

Comfortable place with a great view of half moon bay. Very short walk to the beach, cafes, restaurants, and bars. I’d stay here again if/when I return to Roatan.

Alessandro's place was absolutely beautiful and private. It was a perfect distance from the beach, dive shops and all the fun restaurants and bars. No need for a car because the walk was nice! We had fun in the pool every day when we needed a break from the public. Alessandro was very responsive to anything we needed!! He even arranged transportation to and from airport along with a grocery stop. Amazing service and we hope to visit again. We will definitely stay in this home

This place is incredible! It had everything my family and I were hoping for and more. The house is in a perfect spot with easy ocean access but is high enough up on the hill for amazing views as well. The house was incredibly clean and the amount of helpful amenities (pool, grill, kitchen supplies/utensils, etc.) was great. Carlos - the property’s caretaker - is incredibly friendly and puts a lot of work into keeping the property pristine. He was even kind enough to cut us down some fresh coconuts! We also loved the incredibly sweet dog and cats that call the property’s outdoor space home. We enjoyed having them around. The description is not kidding when they recommend a 4x4 vehicle, the dirt road close to the house has some serious hills that a front-wheel drive car may struggle with. Regardless, this house is absolutely worth the drive out to Roatan’s east end for a more peaceful island adventure. We cannot recommend it enough and will absolutely return!!

The Orchid is the perfect home away from home. I recently stayed there with my two kids (6 and 8) and we had the best time. Lana was super kind, responsive and helpful. She introduced us to Vikky who helped us plan what we wanted to do. The house is equipped with everything you could ever need. No need to pack towels. Dry bags, flashlights etc. it’s all there. The location is perfect if you want to get away from the busy West Bay, but still be close. We easily flagged down water taxis from the beach too get there. The walk to the beach took about 5 minutes and I do wish we had brought hiking sneakers as the footing was a bit slippery with loose rocks. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We walked home from sunset in the dark most nights and I felt comfortable. When we wanted to explore outside of the neighborhood we had Vikky drive us. She always had the perfect recommendations for fun activities, quiet beaches etc. My son “Mom how do we rate The Orchid higher than 5?”

The home is even more stunning in person than in the photos. The master bedroom is spacious and gorgeous, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The downstairs bedrooms are a bit darker, but our kids didn’t mind at all—they absolutely loved their space. One of the highlights of our trip was being able to snorkel right off the front of the house, which was an amazing experience. We also booked a snorkeling trip with Joe, who picked us up right from the house by boat and took us to swim with nurse sharks—an unforgettable adventure! The road leading to the house is unpaved, but we had no trouble getting there in a small SUV—just take it slow. The airport is about 30 minutes away, and Eldon’s grocery store is a convenient 15-minute drive. Dave, the property manager, was always nearby and super helpful whenever we needed anything.

Our stay was perfect! This was our first international trip with our kids, and we were able to take grandma and grandpa with us as well, and this house was such an amazing fit. plenty of space for everyone to have their individual spaces to spread out and get comfortable. The pool was a huge hit with the kids (3 and 5 yrs) - I saw them grow and become more confident swimmers in that pool. The neighborhood is quiet, but a 5 minute walk from the main street of West End and the beaches. Great restaurants available right next door, a dive shop basically right next door. Caroline was so responsive throughout the trip and definitely proactive with so much information about the area. She also connected us with a taxi driver who was very accommodating and wiling to take us anywhere throughout the trip. We were just blown away with how easy this trip felt and cant be more thankful.

This place was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for! It’s far enough away from the resorts to where you almost have your own “private” beach, but close enough to walk to EVERYTHING! There’s snorkeling gear, beach towels, beach chairs, floats…they have everything you need to enjoy the water. John, the property manager, and Don, the property caretaker, were very attentive and always willing to answer any questions we had. This was by far our favorite family vacation, and we will definitely be booking again!

This place is great. We were two adults and three kids (12, 8 and 4). The pool was small but perfect for the kids who are emerging swimmers. The 12 year old enjoyed reading in the chair swing. Cute little lizards and fruit bats outside kept bugs away. The kitchen is huge and had all the appliances, dishes, silverware and cookery you’d want. Everything worked well and the view is killer! It’s close enough to the big grocery store to get there in 10-15 minutes but also close enough to west bay to get there in 10-15 minutes. The hosts were all great! Responded so fast! And so friendly. Checked on us to see if we had any questions or needed anything and they even took care of getting us from and to the airport. Highly recommend this place!

Sofia is amazing and so is the Airbnb. I worked here for a month and it was perfect. Super clean and had everything I could possibly want for an extended stay. Only had 1 issue with the internet but other than that, all good. Great views and sunsets on the balcony, pool is nice, and kitchen is big. AC worked well. Only about a 10 minute walk to the main street. Be aware of extra electricity payments (mentioned in the listing). Was a bit outside my budget which made sense given it was a 2 bed, but worth it for sure for any size group. Sofia herself is super nice and will be willing to help with anything, would definitely recommend! Thank you Sofia!

My family and I had a great stay in Pristine Bay. The Villa was just as described and made us feel right at home. The views from the villa were great. We also loved the closeness of the beach club and restaurants in the area. The community is very peaceful and quiet with not many tourists, which we loved. Would highly recommend it to anyone and we look forward to coming back.

The hostel is the sort of rustic, laid-back place we were looking for. We liked walking, even in the slippery mud after rain. We loved the gang of friendly pets. Our hosts were responsive and shared great stories about themselves and the island. They checked in about our arrival plans and gave us a boat ride to the ferry for our departure. The views are fabulous, the house is spacious, and we had everything we needed to cook and relax. This is no resort; it is a little rough around the edges and not perfectly matching the listing. It is a place to expect the unexpected: we experienced a short power outage, troubleshooting with the water system, less than perfectly reliable internet, and even an earthquake! We were glad we arrived with a few groceries as things are sparse in Savannah Bight. The hotel next door had great food and a trip to Mangrove Bight offered a few more options. The hostel was well supplied with Salva Vida for purchase!

We had an amazing stay at this tranquil cottage in Roatán. It was peaceful and surrounded by nature and right by the beach, which made it the perfect spot to unwind and relax. The cottage itself was clean, sunny, and cozy. We especially loved the beautiful view and snorkeling from the dock — it felt like a true escape from the world. The hosts were kind, responsive, and gave great local tips. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway in paradise!

We loved it here! It was absolutely beautiful and so serene. Our toddler LOVED the pool and thought the dome was so cool. It was the perfect ending to our trip. The property had had an incident the night before and they were very transparent and offered us to cancel for free - which we declined and we are so happy we did!! My only suggestion would be to net the tree cutouts on the deck as they’re a bit dangerous for kids, but this would never stop us from staying here again with our toddler.!
