Great location, fantastic spot for a couple of families

Spent a beautiful weekend at The Church House with 6 lifelong friends and we loved it! The large living space, a bed for each person, the well-stocked kitchen, the screened-in porch, multiple bathrooms, and all the rest made this a perfect location for a girls weekend. We brought lots of food and found all the dishes, utensils, and cutlery we needed on-site. Silvia welcomed us warmly and gave us a complete tour which included important information and amusing anecdotes. Her care for this converted church and the surrounding community was evident. I would enthusiatically recommend this property to anyone needing a space to accommodate a larger group. My friends and I were delighted with our accommodations and would consider returning in the future.

We had a great girl’s weekend at Dawn’s place! The property is beautiful, the house is spacious and beds were comfy. Dawn was very helpful and a great host. Would definitely stay again!

Kate's place was and is absolutely amazing. The property is pristine and beautiful. It's even better than the descriptions say!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to unwind and relax. The hot tub was a great way to end the day under a sky full of stars. The fire pit, hammocks, and kayaks were also a bonus and very inviting. I wish that our stay at Kate's place would've lasted forever. I also recommend staying for more than one night, as one night will just leave you wanting more.(FIVE) STARS ALL THE WAY!

The place was great for our families and hard to beat the location. Lots of games/toys for the kids (and adults), lots of room and quiet from floor to floor.

This cottage is all that it is described to be and did not disappoint!! It was super clean, cozy and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beautiful walk to the beach across the marsh boardwalk, strolling the stunning shores of the Atlantic Ocean and watching the sunset will be core memories for our whole family. Dennis was a pleasure to deal with and quick to respond to any questions. Instructions and communication were very clear and much appreciated. Will definitely be back! :)

Nancy's place was the perfect little get away for us over the weekend. Both Nancy and her husband were very friendly and accommodating. The place's decor is nicely done in a nautical theme, which is perfect for that area. Overall, a perfect experience for us. We would have no hesitation with returning again.

The place was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. The hot tub off the back deck was super clean and had an amazing view out to the ocean. Bed was super comfortable and the wifi worked awesome. We really enjoyed our stay

Suzanne was a lifesaver for my wife and I! She allowed us to host our elopement wedding ceremony on the property for 6 people with less than a week of notice after we had to suddenly find a new venue. The home is comfortable and cozy, and also very spacious thanks to the high vaulted ceiling and open-concept layout. There were some questions we needed answered (forgetfulness due to wedding jitters!) and Suzanne always had a clear response for us. The yard is far more private and peaceful than I imagined, and it's perfectly set up for hosting outdoor dinner parties or similar gatherings. The whole property is protected and surrounded by trees and the surrounding community is very quiet. For anyone looking for a truly private getaway within walking distance of the water, I highly recommend this property, as well as its very helpful host, Suzanne.

He was very quick to reply and was very accommodating. They let us check in in advance since the room was already ready. The place was clean and the description fitting. Good stay overall.

Clean, cozy and comfortable.

The unit that we rented was absolutely perfect for what we needed. There was a nice outdoor space where we could sit and have coffee in the morning and look at the beautiful sunrise on the river. The unit was also very clean. It was a very quick walk to a great restaurant, a bar and a convenience store. It was also a treat to have an ice cream stand right beside the unit.

Amber’s property is absolutely gorgeous and it suited our family well for our party of 10! The amount of space we had was incredible. The sprawling decks, open-concept kitchen/living area, spacious bedrooms and fun rec room were all appreciated very much! It was so comfortable inside and the air conditioning was helpful upon returning from a hot day at the beach. There really seemed to be everything we needed! Amber was so responsive and friendly. I checked in with her several times to ask a few questions and she was able to get back to me within 10mins. We had the best time and this property allowed our large group to have a wonderful vacation and to remain together for the whole trip. Lastly, the property is situated in a perfect location- close to the north shore beaches, restaurants, shops, etc. Lastly, the store “Gallant’s” down the road has everything you need to make a great meal (including fresh seafood)! We highly recommend staying at Amber’s property!

Great stay. The unit has everything you might need (only bring your towel). Kitchen is well equipped for own cooking. The best is the location - right at the water overlooking the bay with the highest tides in the world. We were on the first floor and lucky with the weather, so we spent the whole day on the veranda watching the water. Sitting there we even saw an eagle flying by! Nick is a very caring and attentive host though we haven't met him as he doesn't live on site. There is no shopping or restaurant in walking distance so it is a really quiet and peacefull place. Phantastic location to calm down and relax. Would come back any time.

Kathy’s place was fantastic. Incredibly clean and spacious. Water pressure in shower was a 10/10. lol Highly recommend to other travelers. Kathy was also incredibly kind and accommodating. Thank you again!

Andrew is a great host . Very responsive and friendly. The air bnb was very close to downtown and we were able to walk to many places in Halifax from this location.

Where to even begin! Our stay was fantastic. The views from this air bnb were unmatched. We were in awe of the scenery, loved the privacy, and were blown away by the attention to detail of this bnb! We can’t say enough amazing things about Christina and Dan, so responsive and attentive. The bnb was very well stocked, extremely comfortable beds, plenty of seating, and a KILLER outdoor space. This was such a special trip for our family and it was made so much more enjoyable because we were so comfortable and relaxed in this space. So many unique things to experience. We went out with Larry and saw seals and pulled lobster trap. We had delicious fresh lobster from him. Highly recommend. And fresh sea food from Earl’s to cook at home. So many cute little places in Machias to check out as well, too. If you don’t mind driving a little bit, Quoddy Head State Park is a must! We saw whales right off the point! And there was lots of hiking and an artic bog. We loved our stay!
