Live the “simple” life on the Baltic: in a solar-powered workman’s hut. The idyllic hamlet of Klützer Winkel is 20 km east of Lübeck, Germany, 6 km west of Boltenhagen, and only ten minutes’ walk from the unspoiled Baltic coastline. Our natural refuge (3500 sq.m./over 37,000 sq.ft.) is nestled among hilly meadows, woodlands, beaches, and some nearby seaside cliffs. Our owner-run plot of land has many fruit trees and other trees, blackberry bushes and shrubs. Pristine meadows directly around the property are crisscrossed by narrow pathways. You can set up your own place to sit, and there is a central terrace with barbecue. Facing the south, the vintage workman’s hut (20 square meter/215 square feet) was converted into a cocoon of living space with virtually no environmental footprint. Its separate bedroom, kitchen and roomy living area are supplemented by a 14 square meter (150 square foot) veranda facing west. All the flooring is larch. All electricity is solar generated with water supply from on board tanks or at the nearby “bathhouse” on the same plot with its solar-powered shower. A wood-burning stove can be used in colder weather. Details: 12VDC power supply, intermittent 220V/80W power with converter, DVB-T TV, radio and DVD player, refrigerator, two-plate gas cooker, and sink. Since 2016 we got a supplementary nonsolar power supply i.e. to have a shower without sun. Plus we offer: Bicycle and bed linen rental (please confirm in advance), drawing and painting kits, arts and crafts equipment, beach utensils. Plus the chance to pick and process cherries, blackberries, pears, and apples (all according to the season and availability, for a small fee) Klützer Winkel also offers many leisure, cultural, and recreational opportunities.

The holiday home is located in the Sternberger Seenland Nature Park, is 200 years old and was formerly the same. Ice house of the manor house. It was completely renovated in 2017. The sauna, canoe, rowboat, stand-up paddle as well as a ping pong table and badminton can be used free of charge. Groß Raden has an archaeological open-air museum with holiday programs and two restaurants. From the jetty or boat you can fish or swim. To the Baltic Sea, to Schwerin as well as to Wismar and Rostock are about 45 km.

A cabin getaway on a natural beach

Our 75-square-meter (809-square-foot) apartment is fully equipped for 4 guests. Located right by the sea, on the upper floor of a 100-year-old thatched-roof house, it offers 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a 1970s design. There are no neighbors; on the ground floor, there is the “Klabautermann” restaurant, a sauna (for a fee), and a secluded outdoor area with a beach chair and outdoor furniture. The sound of the sea will lull you to sleep!

If you prefer to breathe in the Baltic Sea air, you can reach Scharbeutz or Haffkrug by car in just 5 minutes to Scharbeutz or Haffkrug. You can also reach the sandy beach in just 10 minutes by bike through the beautiful beech forest. The perfect place to relax away from the hustle and bustle.

We offer our newly built Danish weekend cottage. (Completed in 2020). It's really small, but has everything you need for a vacation; in terms of amenities & well-being. The cottage is located in a quiet private street. The neighborhood is quiet and very friendly. The beach, bakery, pastry shop, restaurants, an organic shop, beach shopping & Rewe are within walking distance. The sun shines in the heart 365 days a year, starry sky more beautiful than in any big city. Simply beautiful.

The bungalow is in a quiet location - it is only about 850 m to the pier and the Baltic Sea beach. It has a cozy living-kitchen area with fireplace, sitting area, smart TV, bedroom., shower/toilet, two terraces, free Wi-Fi, washing machine and car parking space. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher. Bed linen can be booked on request for an additional fee - then the beds are made up on arrival. Only a 10-minute walk away is a beach bar right on Haffkrug’s sandy shore. A great place for couples, families & friends who love a high-quality and cozy interior.

Apartment Mehrblick, Travemünde

Hello dears, Starting in December 2021, you will have the opportunity to book my beloved and lovingly furnished Baltic Sea apartment. The apartment is located on the 26th floor of the Maritim Hotel in Travemünde and is located directly on the beach. From the 6 m² balcony you have a beautiful view over the spa hotels of Travemünde and see as far as the Bay of Lübeck and the horizon of the Baltic Sea. Here you can relax and unwind wonderfully.

We rent our small but fine guest room. It has a separate entrance. The door lock is of course lockable. The room includes a new renovated bathroom & a beautiful sun terrace. In the room there is also a small refrigerator. The room is very close to the Baltic Sea. For the stay in Dahme, a tourist tax of €3.50/€2 per person (depending on the season) is charged per day. The visitor's tax is booked separately online in advance.

Beach house - Spacious and modern!

Welcome to the Baltic Sea! This apartment is the entire lower floor of a two-family house. Here you will find everything you need for a nice vacation. The garden with terrace, meadow, pond and carport is at your sole disposal. It doesn't always have to be the beach, but it's only 500 meters away. Shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance. You are also welcome to bring your dog, the property is fenced.
