Who knew northwest Alabama was hiding a gem like this? This cabin was exactly what we were hoping for—a perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. Time seemed to slow down the moment we arrived. Peaceful doesn’t even begin to cover it. We spent hours fishing off the dock just a short stroll from the cabin, and the beds? Slept like a dream. Our kids had a blast, our pup felt right at home, and we left feeling rested and grateful. Gabby was an incredible host—kind, quick to respond, and made everything easy. Already planning our return trip!

my tournament partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. it was very peaceful and relaxing. it was really great how close it is to the boat ramps. Elena's really awesome. when I had questions, she would answer them very quickly.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. The hottub was so nice to relax in after dinner and during the rainy day! Great location for visiting Tishmingo State Park. Everything was perfect. Thanks so much for being pet friendly!!

House was perfect for our needs plus the hottub was a bonus. Bed very comfortable and hosts were wonderful.

My family really enjoyed the cabin. It is very centrally located but still feels private and remote. The cabin was very clean — much cleaner than some other rentals we’ve had. We will be back!

Great Cabin especially if you want to explore the middle to lower sections of Pickwick lake. Had everything we needed for the weekend!!

The cabin was perfect for our 3 day weekend stay. Check in was a breeze. We loved that it was on the end and away from the other cabins. The doggy area was perfect for our pups... but the best part was the bed... Chiefs Kiss! It rained most of the weekend, but we enjoyed how cozy we felt. We will definitely be booking again!

When you visit here you are in the woods near the state park area. My cell phone service cut out right before getting there but the WiFi was dependable and the info is on the kitchen wall as art. Super helpful. So much out door furniture and swing. So peaceful with the trickle of the small creek in the back yard. Grill worked well. Extra tank for when it ran out. TVs in every room. Kitchen had all the necessary things. Had bowls to store leftovers and foil and storage bags which were all so helpful. Host had shampoo body wash and conditioner in the bathrooms which was nice! The binder in the table had lots of info in it about the area and what was around to eat, even listing what the restaurants had and the price range of the food. The keurig part of the coffee maker didn’t work using the cups (unless I was doing it wrong) so I used the tiny filter basket and used ground coffee which made perfect cups of coffee! They had a travel mug and stuff for coffee there already. Great place!!!!!

A quaint cabin perfect for a short stay. Equipped kitchen, tidy. Host was very responsive and flexible with our stay.

We were very pleased with the cabin. It was clean, spacious, and overlooked parts of the water. We took our boat and stored it right across the highway and could walk over with no problem. We loved the back porch because it was covered and had plenty of seating for the family. It over looked a restaurant across the street and can watch all the boats coming and going. We will definitely plan a trip back. Everything was very convenient to us.

Lovely cabin with beautiful lake view. Fun, rustic experience with nice amenities and wood burning fire place. Nearby restaurant food and service was excellent! Perfect for visiting our son at Itawamba! Will return for home basbeall games!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Cabin this weekend. LOVE the screened in porch on the front of the house and the deck out back. The house was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The house was also SUPER CLEAN! Very short drive to boat docks and restaurants. We hope to visit there again soon and hopefully get to stay in this super cute place. Brandi was just a text away and friendly. Thanks to our awesome hosts for sharing their lake house with us!

This cabin is wonderful! The wrap around porch is amazing and was my absolute favorite place to be. When you walk inside the cabin you have the kitchen and living room space with tv and also a bathroom with shower tucked to the side. You go downstairs and there are the two smaller rooms with beds and also a little sitting room with a tv and a couch big enough to sleep on. If you come back up to the kitchen/living room level you can then go upstairs to find the master suite. This was perfect for a weekend getaway and I was highly recommend it to others.
