Whether you are looking for a quite, private and secluded vacation spot or a home between two local ski resorts (Purgatory and Wolf Creek) this home offers the best of both worlds. This is also a great hunting spot, less than a quarter mile walk to public hunting property held by BLM. You can walk right out the door and hike, snow shoe, or sled down the driveway. We are not present when the home is occupied.

Vallecito Lake is directly across the street as well as the boat marina where you can rent a pontoon, kayak, paddle board, and more. Durango is about 25 minutes from Durango during the summer and about 35 to 40 min during the winter.

Great forest escape in the mountains. Our house offers space to come together as a family, slow down and enjoy nature. The fresh, cool mountain air is refreshing and inviting. Like most mountain homes, our house does not have AC as the breeze keeps the house cooler. During those unseasonably warm times, the box fans in the windows keep the air flowing and trips to the lake or river are just perfect! We have upgraded our internet and are averaging speeds over 100 MBPS.
