Frank and Alok are amazing hosts who don’t leave a single stone unturned in order to make sure your stay is comfortable and amazing. The place is remote, so please respect the locals and you will have a great stay. Airbnb location is wrong so simply put 4rooms in google or just contact Frank.

I recently stayed at the dog on the hill that exceeded all my expectations. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their friendly dogs were a delightful bonus, adding to the homely atmosphere with their playful and affectionate nature. The view from the homestay was nothing short of breathtaking. Waking up to stunning landscapes was a highlight of my stay. The environment was serene and picturesque, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the best parts of my experience was the opportunity to make new friends. I met some truly wonderful people during my stay. The combination of a great host, friendly dogs, beautiful views, and new friendships made this homestay an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

This place is simply amazing. It's super clean and the host really thinks about the comforts of her guests. She has put a lot of effort and thought to make sure that every one who visits the cottage will have a memorable time. The views from her cottage of the mountains and river below is simply breathtaking. It's a very peaceful place to stay in. Me and my wife loved it to bits. Looking forward to staying here in the future when we visit Manali again. This place is about 10 km before Manali town. If your looking for place where you can relax and have a nice time, this is the place to be. Cheers!

Beautiful room with an outstanding view. Hike to Triund or Bhagsur waterfall. Good wifi and kitchen amenities.

Visited the place for a second time and it was as beautiful and peaceful as I remembered. The staff is pretty proactive and helpful, they even helped us with recommendations on what all places can be explored nearby along with new trails we could discover for walks. Will definitely be coming back here again and again.

We had an incredible stay at Duffdan House! The location was nice to eyes with good views of the surrounding peaks and forests. The home itself was cozy, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Tek Chand ji and Praveen, their caretakers were extremely responsive and made sure we had all the details from a smooth check-in to checkout. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful escape near old manali!

Harish is a wonderful host and human and Ara homestay is a lovely place to stay at manali. The roads till the stay are pretty good no hassle and harish made sure we have a comfortable stay. He is familiar with the local places around the stay if you like trekking and going to small trails harish is the best person to tell you about it. Our room and bathroom were clean well organised as well. The view from the room is of snow peaks which is so serene. I would give 6 on 5 starts to the property and to Harish and Lipika for being such a warm hosts.

The location and the house were just perfect. Yes... it is a 15 mins walk from the main road. But, it's worth the effort. Dimple was very helpful during our stay. Stayed constantly in touch and attended to our needs. Don't miss the sunsets here. Will stay here next time too.

We had a brilliant stay at Blue Hills. It's clean, beautiful view, quaint, tucked away in the hills. Everything is as it was on the website, and even more lovely and warm in person. Also has many cozy cafes within 100m. A special mention for Milaap ji, the caretaker, who was really kind and helpful to us. Looking forward to coming back again!

The Blue House is the ideal escape from city life. Nestled in a quiet, scenic spot, it offers a serene atmosphere that instantly relaxes you. The rooms are cozy with stunning views of nature. The hosts are warm and welcoming. The sunset is beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. If you're looking for relaxation and a break from the hustle, this place is a true hidden gem.

La Maison is a gem of a place located in Chougan, Bir. I'm actually not sure where to start from as it all just culminated into something great but here goes..... Location- Super! If you walk from the Tibetan Market bus stop, it takes about 20 mins and it takes you via winding lanes, beautiful views and cute cafes where you can stop for a quick coffee or whatever you fancy. By taxi, it takes less than 5 mins and the charge is about 150 one way. Check in and check out- Super smooth. Early check in is not a possibility and honestly, it does not matter as the rooms are made ready while you sit down to breakfast or freshen yourself in the guest washroom. Lounge around reading or go for a walk while they get you settled. Check in is very fast and all you need to do is give you ID proof and done! The house- In the middle of nature with stunning views of the mountains and paragliders in the sky the entire day- what else would you want? It is silent and tranquil. The interiors are cosy and exactly how they are shown in the various sites. There are lots of spaces to lounge around in, books in plenty and soothing music that plays in the drawing room the entire day. The house provides privacy along with interaction in a very balanced way- Kudos to Ranjeet and Priti for this achievement! :) Food- The best part of my stay! It is AMAZING! All home cooked, vegetarian and wholesome. There's just something very satisfying about the food and the way it is served. The dining table used to be a hub of conversation amongst the travellers and the hosts- all seeming like a family meal where you hang around even after the food is done with haha! I honestly would not mind eating all my meals here the next time I visit :) The hosts- More said is less about Priti and Ranjeet! They have built a haven for travellers where you feel peaceful and happy and all things nice. Their son Daksh adds to the activity around and the residential pet, Buddy is very amusing :) Special mention for the house help Lucky, who goes around with a smile and nod and makes your life very easy. Will I be back? OF COURSE! Do I recommend this place? With all my heart :) Is this suitable for a long term stay/ workation? Absolutely!

It was an amazing stay for us. We were given the choice to stay at the delux room or at the premium tents at the terrace and we chose the tents ⛺️… it was a very comfortable stay with a special mention of Pratapji ( sr person) who was the manager , cum an awesome cook 👍 and was always available for any support. He was well supported by Sandesh who again ensure service with a smile 😊 Sanjay , the owner was travelling on work but he was extremely hospitable and ensured all necessary arrangements were done well in advance including a beautiful bonfire 🔥 . If you are at Bir billing than one should definitely try their stay here to enjoy the bliss of river stream right in front and the property being located between 2 mountain valleys. The bir landing point is approx 5kms.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff were welcoming and offered a refreshing drink upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with high-quality linens.The staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Our stay was memorable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting Manali , whether for business or leisure. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip.

My husband and I went for a brief break from the city life and this place served us exactly that. It looks and feels way better than in pictures. It’s the comforting stay (very detailed in every way), the cleanliness, the mentioned amenities, the warmth with which everyone takes care of you, the love from dogs, the preparation of food. Amit and Kajal helped us customise and arrange a few things we requested. The hosts- Lakhan and Swapna are such warm people who have come from different backgrounds of life and are now running this place with help from the local community. Recommendations- Pottery sessions and don’t forget to ask them for their rejected pieces. They might have some and they might give some.

I had a great experience staying at one of the best hotels in Manali. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the facilities were top-notch. The room was spacious and well-maintained. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Manali!

Nek uncle is extremely kind , we had a very good time at his homestay! We felt right at home. He was kind enough to arrange food for us even at an extremely late hour and at a short notice. He’s flexible and friendly and v accommodating. I recommend his homestay to everyone.

Location of property and view from rooms are perfect. The rooms are good in size and have all the required amenities. The property is lucky to have a caretaker like Sunil. He's so honest, hardworking and helpful. One can get a bus to Manali or Kullu just from downstairs.
