Family-friendly holiday rentals in Beaverhead County

This is a beautiful spot and was very comfortable for our family of nine adults and two children. We enjoyed the fire table and the fire pit. The kitchen was large enough to have 3 cooks working at the same time. there were tons of kitchen implements to use and a fantastic barbecue. We highly recommend this property.

The house is surrounded by nature. It is much better than the pictures. There’s plenty of cooking utensils and a big grill. If you plan to go just to Yellowstone, keep in mind that it will take about one hour to the park entrance - currently there’s a construction on the non paved road that can add up to 30 minutes more. Melanie is a great hostess.

This place was perfect for our family reunion. The downstairs became the hangout hub for kids with the ping pong table, and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. It was a great central location for all of our Island Park adventures.

Silver Star ranch was exactly what we needed. It was private and peaceful and a great place to launch two weeks of exploring from. we hit the tobacco root mountains, Virginia, Nevada, and Bannack ghost towns (Nevada & Bannack were our favorites), pioneer scenic byways and scouted dozens of off grid camping sites for next year in the various national forest. For pets, one thing to be aware at the cabin is are the prickly bears (small cactus)... bothered our German shepherds feet some. Local vet in Sheridan was great and gave us a spray to toughen pads while we were out. it really helped. We climbed the area behind the cabin too...good workouts each morning. Jim was a great host and easy to talk to. Thanks Jim!

If you are looking for a simple, clean, well-stocked home, this is it. We appreciated how well-stocked the house was with supplies and the abundance of towels. Robert was an excellent & friendly host who gave us awesome recommendations. We LOVED the simple check-out instructions & no cleaning fee charged. If you are a fisherman/woman, you will love the location right on the Madison River. We loved the area & being 30 min from Yellowstone. Great stay.

This home was beautiful,and so comfortable. We brought our entire family and it had plenty of room for 14. The scenery was wonderful and it was so peaceful. This home is so close to many of the attractions. Kathy our host was wonderful. When I had a question she answered me right away. I would recommend this home as a great place that I would stay in again.

The Expedition Lodge was Beautiful and exceeded our expectations! The living room was so cozy and comfortable and the fireplace was perfect. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped with everything we needed for our Christmas dinner. Bedrooms were all very comfortable and everything was so clean and well supplied and organized. We absolutely loved staying there. We were so impressed with everything, even down to the beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Excellent communication from the owner...Thank you!

We had a great stay at the Lost Trail Powder House! An easy drive to Lost Trail ski resort as well as miles and miles of snowmobile trails made this the perfect place for us. A very large and well stocked house, plus the tranquility of being in the woods. Looking forward to a return trip!!

An amazing place to call home for a few days. Neighborhood was so peaceful and the views were spectacular. House was cleaned and supplied well. Instructions were easy and not overwhelming. Would definitely stay here again if in the area, I'd even drive from Bozeman just for the peaceful, quiet views.

It had everything we needed and more for our weekly stay. It was a quiet place to relax after daily activities. Tara was very friendly and her check-in and check-out instructions were very clear. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I needed a complete change is scenery and chose the upper Madison Valley for the fishing and scenery, and it did not disappoint. Chris and Rob were excellent hosts and helped us by recommending what were must sees and what we could skip. The apartment has everything we needed for a nice week’s stay. The views are spectacular.

Perfect space to meet up with family. Felt right at home! The stars at night are indescribable. Plenty of space for a large group. We definitely would like to come back!

I had a wonderful stay at this cabin near Yellowstone National Park! The location was perfect. Close enough to the park for easy access but tucked away in a peaceful, scenic spot. The cabin itself was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was well equipped with all the essentials and more. Comfortable place, in an extremely peaceful setting. Cory was kind & super responsive. my family had a great time here. We especially loved the wraparound porch, it was such a lovely place to have coffee & meals.

Dans place was great and in a great location. The house seemed like an original ranch house to the property but it’s been redone to feel modern with the original ranch house look. I would stay here again.
