We had a fabulous time. The house was magnificent. Plenty of room and beautifully decorated. Our host, Anna, was very helpful sending me a comprehensive list of things to do, where to eat etc. Even suggesting things to do with my 6 year old grandson. We will definitely be going back. Thanks Anna.

Luxurious, spacious and beautifully designed - I would thoroughly recommend Granby Cottage if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing break in the countryside. Although Bradford on Avon and Bath are easily accessible, so you can have the best of both worlds! Amanda and James (and their spaniels) are very friendly and helpful, and we hope to return soon. PS their dog fields are probably the best we’ve visited, and I would advise pre-booking, as they are very popular.

Arthur and Jenie were really friendly, helpful hosts and, oh my, what a beautiful place to stay! The cottage is delightfully quirky with so many interesting touches - the hosts clearly have great taste and you can just tell they've really thought about the details. Loved everything about it, thank you so much!

A really lovely property, very clean and comfortable, had everything we could possibly need. Plenty space for the two of us and our dogs but would also be comfortable for 4. We will definitely book again when visiting the area.

I had a wonderful stay at this property during my trip to Bath! The location was absolutely amazing—super convenient with quick and easy routes straight into the city, which made exploring Bath so simple. One of the standout features was the parking: it was easily accessible and there was always space available, which took a lot of stress out of the trip. The house itself was spotless and very well maintained. It felt comfortable and welcoming from the moment I stepped in—a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. Overall, it was a great experience and I truly hope to stay here again on my next visit to Bath. Highly recommended and thank you for having us!

Beautiful home, well equipped & lovely area. Lots to do, places to eat or to pop out for a drink. Hot tub is so relaxing. Julie is a great host, always responsive and so helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Pollyanna was very responsive and accommodating. Her place was great, and it was very easy to get to and from the train and bus station as well as all of the attractions Bath has to offer. Beautiful kitchen too if you like to eat some meals at home.

Lovely Georgian house with lots of original features and very comfortable. Plenty of downstairs space which was also great as we brought our dog's crate with us for her to sleep in and there were plenty of location options for that. Lovely secluded, sunny and enclosed garden at the front. The super king and king size double bedrooms were very comfortable - especially the mattresses. Easy walks with the dog from the house - steep hills though but amazing views in to Bath and across the valley. 5 minutes drive to the Park & Ride on Saturday. Just one bathroom but plenty of room, good shower and lots of light.

Katie was one of the best Hosts I have ever come across. Even during her holiday she was always responsive, caring, thoughtful and truly fantastic. We stayed for 2 weeks and didn’t want to leave. The house is spotlessly clean, all basic provisions provided and very well equipped. I could not recommend this beautiful house enough and we are so very grateful to Katie for making us feel so very welcome. We loved it here. Very close to keynsham with great places to eat, a great vibe to the area and you can jump on the train into Bath in less than 10 minutes. It’s such a superb place to stay

We had a fantastic stay - such a beautiful house and amazing garden. We hugely enjoyed playing tennis, ping pong, the swimming pool and beautiful walks in the local area. The house was characterful and homely as well as being immaculate and spacious. We would highly recommend this to everyone!

I can see why Georgina's barn conversion is a Guest Favourite, because quite simply, what's not to love! Our week was spent relaxing in the courtyard, enjoying the sound of the nearby river, trees rustling in the wind and the sound of nature right on our doorstep. We happily explored many countryside walks from the village of Combe Hay, followed by a well earned glass of wine and a delicious meal at the Wheatsheaf pub opposite. The highlight has to be enjoying their pool with Georgina encouraging us to take a dip and enjoy her home. Georgina is a lovely and welcoming host and we'll certainly stay again. Oh, and the fresh eggs are perhaps the best I have ever tasted.

Joanna and Philip were very lovely and friendly host. The space is beautiful and very peaceful and exactly as described. I did all my cooking in the well equipped kitchen and really enjoyed using the pool, sauna and cold bath, which was the main reason I booked. Even though I didn't drive, it's easy to get a taxi from Frome train station and it's also a 40 minutes to get there from the station.

A peaceful, beautiful location and a perfect location for catching up with best friends who hadn't seen each other for years. Great kitchen and barbecue with a stunning hot tub and more than comfortable bedrooms. We were all males and quite loud and at a few points. Nobody came to complain and we were left to enjoy a fantastic 3 days.

We had a fabulous three night stay in the patch cottage. Everything was perfect and couldn’t have been any better. As soon as we walked in it felt homely and welcoming; the amenities were great - though we didn’t use them. Weston-super-mare was but a 15-20 minute drive away. I can’t recommend this place enough, I will definitely be back! Thank you! 🫶🏽

Wonderful stay! The app with info, in-house info and the booking system for the pool were all very informative and helpful, much appreciated. The grounds are incredibly beautiful, and the pool (the main reason for our stay) was a true highlight. To be able to book in with a lot of flexibility and privacy was wonderful, as well as the long hours available for booking. Cream tea on arrival was delicious! The property itself has everything you need, and we can't wait to book to stay again.

Sam’s place was surprisingly spacious with beautiful views from the balcony. We felt at home straight away as the place had a comfortable homely feel. Super comfy bed too. Loved it & great location for visiting our son in Bristol.

Beautiful large room, full of character, spotless, comfortable and classy. lovely area, fantastic host, amazing cafes, bars and restaurants close by… Will return! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when I come again to Bristol.

The listing reflects the property well , it was clean , comfortable beds and all that we needed was there. Lots to do locally , great location .

The Best of Bristol experience Everyone who knows Bristol knows if you can walk for an unlimited time then this is the place to be. This is our second time here at the Vault and although under new owners, it was as good as we experienced the last time. The change is only that there are now no parking permits but that didn’t impact us too much as we parked for under £7 from 6pm to 9am right outside the flat and then were out for the daytimes anyway. There are a number of free places to park on the downs and Ubers are cheap. The location is the best location in Bristol as far as we are concerned. Close to so many things to do and lots of fab walks along the river or up to Clifton. Check out London shows on at Hippodrome (5 min walk away). We will continue to stay here for the Best of Bristol experience and thoroughly recommend the vault.

The amenities were top notch : the towels were best ever, shower was wonderful and bed linens of the highest quality. The kitchen had everything we needed for the few days we spent in Bristol. Our only challenge was the staircase . Perhaps not the ideal location for older folk.

Lovely stay. Tess sent plenty of information prior to the stay so everything was so easy when checking in and getting settled. Tess was very friendly in messages and a brilliant host. The bedding was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. Lovely touches with milk and juice and other bits around the studio . Walking distance to bus stop into town and easy parking outside. Highly recommend to stay here ! Thankyou

A really beautiful place to stay!! It was really unique and incredibly well decorated!! Central and on a great location, it was perfect for our weekend in Bath! Greg was extremely responsive and kind, and I would definitely recommend!

A beautiful stay in a beautiful barn home with the most beautiful hosts, and chickens! We are so grateful to Sammy for his kindness and hospitality- we felt right at home in his light-filled accommodation that was just the perfect amount of space and cosiness. Many thanks for a great couple of days!
