Holiday rentals with a patio in Bedong

Sue Sern is an amazing host. She was very responsive and she accommodated our request for an early arrival with our elderly mom if her home was not occupied. We eventually arrived earlier than our request. Her home is homey. It stands out as having a lovely sea facing view. You can wake up and sit on the balcony to watch the sun rise or even have a cup of coffee there too. Has most things that one would need. The pots and pans can do with a slight refresh but otherwise it was OK. Straits Quay Marina Apartment as the name suggests is by the marina. You can walk around the marina and there are some restaurants, cafes and bars within the facilities. There is also a supermarket too. To get to Gurney and Georgetown is easy and fast. We came to Penang to catch up with friends and for the food. And Sue Sern's home was perfect with its convenient location. Lastly, again, we thank Sue Sern for a great stay.

Everything’s okay

The apartment is really big and like in the pictures, three bedrooms and two bathrooms, day area huge too, with nice balcony. The beach is close and the swimming pool is nice with a kids area. You can take grab to move around or the bus that is connected to George town. The electricity bill is to pay out of the price if you use air conditioning, but honestly there was no need, just keep the windows open. The only flaw is the smell in the house I imagine due to being close for a long time, would be nice a deep clean. Overall a good solution to stay in the peace out of the city!

Residence was as described. Clean rooms , modern furniture with a spectacular view of golf course and Mount Gurun from the balcony.

The view from the unit is beautiful and we love the environment there. The host was helpful with our requests and needs. The price is a bit steep in my opinion but overall the place and location is great.

very responsive . Great place to stay, with big unit for family of 8. Though the toilet door was a bit of stain due to some muddy water, not sure why, but after I informed him, he immediately get the worker to clean it. Other than that, everything was fine, beautiful and clean unit to stay. Highly recommended.

This might be the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. The space is big, well-designed, and the lighting at night was perfect—soft and calming, not too bright. Showers were clean and modern, and having a supermarket and restaurants basically in the same building made everything easy. We did run into a few issues though. Our key cards stopped working several times over a few days, which made things feel a bit tense instead of homey. When we arrived, the keys weren’t where they were meant to be, and we ended up waiting about 40 minutes. Wendy did her best to help and seemed genuinely on our side. None of the issues felt like they were caused by her. Despite that, this place still stands out as my favourite Airbnb overall.

overall was good, just that ground floor room doesn't have air cond and level 1 master bathroom doesn't have heater

We had an excellent stay. The hospitality was outstanding, the amenities were fantastic, and everything was well-maintained. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

Homestay sangat selesa.. mmg sesuai utk yg bawak family dan ada anak ramai. Nak check in mudah dan check out pun flexible. Bilik semua selesa.. semua kemudahan berfungsi dgn baik. Owner pun reply pantas dan mudah berurusan. Tq sudi terima saya dan keluarga 👍🏻

Big and spacious place for family or friends. Cleanliness is good and check in is easy.

The host was very kind, helpful, friendly, and was always able to offer suggestions for things to do. For me, this trip was about family nearby, so this location allowed for everyone to gather here in one location. I would highly recommend the roti Cani that can be found at the small little food court at the end of the Road and to the left. As a visitor from the US, I greatly appreciated the AC in each of the bedrooms help sleep at night on hot malaysian nights. I will most certainly come back the next time I’m in Penang.

入住前有很清楚的入住指示， 入住時間是3點，我們2點抵達已可入住，非常滿意的住宿，乾淨整潔，非常舒適的房間，與圖片符合，露台可見漂亮的夜景，洗澡水很大很舒服，有兩台冷氣，我們只開一台，因為很冷，而且還有過濾水供飲用，也有洗衣機，是一間非常適合一家大小的住宿！ 有一點需要改進的是枕頭，共有四個枕頭，有兩個很硬不好睡，換柔軟的就完美了！😊

We stayed for three weeks at Rey's place and we were very happy with the flat, the location, and the facilities. We had a car, so that made it easy to access food courts, the beach and the town. However, there is a bus stop just a few minutes from the condo, which is also convenient or Grab is very efficient on the island. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Good place to stay at Penang, right on the beach, with great bar & restaurant downstairs. Also other food options just across the street.

Crystal’s place is in a good central location. The bed is sooo comfy so you can sleep well and the room itself is nicely decorated. And most importantly, everything is spotless and clean!! Just take note that there is a poodle who is always scared of strangers so it barks a lot, incase you are someone who may be bothered by this!

The apartment is located in the Landmark building which caters for a lot of Airbnb units. The building is surrounded by a lot of shopping and food options but if you want to see Penang it would be best to drive/Grab. This unit is well looked after and extremely well optioned with free parking, big tv, Netflix, micro, water dispenser etc. etc and the block has an excellent gym and pool with great views. The Homey Planet team are very friendly and helpful and respond quickly to any questions or requests. We had the apt on the 33rd floor with amazing views of the Gurney shoreline and over the affluent Tg Tokong bungalows. On New Years Eve the view of the fireworks along the waterfront and across the island was just awesome. The furniture and beds are a bit hard wearing to cope with the high traffic - this could easily pass as a luxury apartment with an upgrade of the furnishings but at the current price it’s amazing value for money. Recommended!

Wonderful place to stay. In love with the balcony view as it faces the sea. Windy and nice. Nearby to many local food shops. The host was responsive. Will definitely repeat the stay again.

Well maintained unit and the place was exactly as described, spotless , quiet and comfortable. Chan was quick response and friendly. I have enjoyed my peaceful stay here, highly recommended !
