We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this peaceful haven! The property is nestled in a serene location, surrounded by nature, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The space was immaculately clean, every inch beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and peaceful stay. With friendly pets and playing options inclusive for kids meant they were always engaged. The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, going above and beyond to ensure our visit was memorable. From the warm greetings to the helpful local tips, her hospitality truly stood out. The outdoor space perfect for enjoying a quiet morning coffee. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Kitchen was fully equipped with all essentials and food options inclusive. If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat with a host who genuinely cares, this is the place for you. We’ll definitely be returning! Undoubtedly would have extended our stay if possible.

We loved working with Dee and staying at her property. Her home is ideal for visitors looking for a quieter side of Goa. It’s a little off-the-beaten-path, but not hard to find. And once we arrived, we found her space to be spacious and easy to live in for a few days. It’s artfully decorated, it has all the things you’d need for a lengthy stay (WiFi of course, laundry, AC, a pool). Food options require a little planning, as the closest good restaurants are more a drive than a walk, but there’s great coffee walking distance from the property, and we were served traditional Goan breakfast hand-prepped in Dee’s kitchen, and it was totally delicious! We also really like Dee on a personal level. Her response time to our questions over text was excellent, and she gave good and clear instructions on how to get there, and once we were there, she supplied us with a lot of great tips for navigating the neighborhood. A great host and human being. A++

Our experience in Goa was mixed. While we encountered a few people who came across as rude and arrogant, there were also some who were genuinely kind and helpful. Dashrath, in particular, stood out as a truly considerate and polite person ( always there to help ). Even though the area is bit outer, surroundings here offer a peaceful escape from the usual hustle and bustle of Goa. It’s exactly what you need if you're looking to immerse yourself in nature and enjoy some peace after all that hectic day.

Leo's homestay is true to it 's name - Beautiful, Quaint & Calm. With river flowing beside your room ( Few meters away), it gives a great feeling. Lots of trees & birds round. In a nutshell - Terrific location. Very good care of guest by you and your team gives more than homely feeling.

We had a very comfortable stay! Mr. Dilip made sure our check in and check out went smooth. The place had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We would certainly choose this place again. You can swim at the pool or if you just wanna enjoy with some movies, the 4k TV and fast wifi makes sure you have a fun movie marathon experience. If you have proper swimming attire, you can enjoy swimming at the pool. Swiggy/zomato/instamart connectivity is great! Would highly recommend!

Ujwala’s place is simply great! It felt right at home. Clean, neat and tidy. The late check in was smooth and Shekhar, the caretaker, is very cooperative and amiable. This is the only place so far I’ve visited that gives room service. Shekhar, kindly arranged a tasty breakfast. The place is cozy and comfortable. I would love to recommend my friends and family and would love to visit again.

It was a great homestay for a female solo traveller like myself.... Leo and Jaqualine were very informative about the city and suggestions if you ask them. Since i may face commute issues,So, when i called for the first time to jaq/Leo, she suggested to bring a vehicle (hire a government approved, yellow plate vehicle) along with you, that was the most helpful thing during my stay there. Even if u don want to eat out, you just have to inform them and order the food (goan and non-veg delicacies plus veg food) prior but i was vegetarian so mostly i managed my meals when i was out. Breakfasts at the stay was amazing, since i enjoy the serene waters. Safety was a concern for me if i travel out, but i did't felt this "here" (at hotel stays, you have to face lot of strange servers, staff or ppl) it was like fuss-free home and quiet. Wifi was sometimes an issue, since i used to work from there. I think that can be sorted out if, but it was problematic when i was trying for tickets (Your networks might not work here). I was very happy with the experience, two of my friends are planning ..going to same place now. And i am visiting again,, during my next vacay. Cheers!!! n thanks

The name serne waters does justice to the experience. absolutely serene and right infornt of water. The place is right out of a fairy tale, decorated beautifully. only thing better than the place is the host Leo himself. He guided us on all things GOA and made all arrangements. Truly and amazing experience

We, a group of 4 orthopaedic surgeons visited Goa for a conference and stayed at Leo's serene waters homestay at Ribandar for 6 days Pros: 1) friendly host 2) few metres from highway connecting Panjim and old goa 3) dining area overlooking backwater with mangrove forest 4) two wheelers available for rent, lent to us by Mr. Shafi 5) peaceful environment away from city Cons: 1) bathroom could have been better with uninterrupted hot water supply 2) the room was not cleaned and the bedspread and blanket was not changed not even once over the 6 days period of our stay

Best place away from all the madness goa offers

Leo is a great host indeed. Easy to approach and very humble. Place lives upto its name "Serene Waters". It's peaceful and quiet away from crowd. Has a nice little pool where you can relax and enjoy food. Leo makes sure food he serves is less in oil, spices and is more like what you get at home. He is always happy to have conversations and shares stories about place and what all things you can see. He goes beyond to help his guests to facilitate their stay and make them comfortable. 100% recommend it and if I get chance would again stay at the place.

One a kind experience at this beautiful private property in south goa. The house is a Portuguese villa maintained with perfect care and love full of antiques. The space transports you a blast from the past I can say. Surrounded by beautiful chickoo gardens. The host is the kindest sweetest uncle I could have ever met & the elaborate breakfast they serve setting not only the food in style but with the side of symphonies ❤️🫡 Along an old train track the house vibrates on the passing of a train😅

I had a top tier experience staying at Ulhas' home. The room was really nice & large with lots of natural light, comfortable bedding & a nice well-equipped bathroom. Lovely common area with a large patio. Calm, peaceful & green surroundings with chirpy birds. What i liked most was how sensibly Ulhas has done up the place. Functionality & convenience have been given utmost importance from the point of view of the traveller. Everything is in the right place and works as one would expect. Moreover, his family is very sweet, always smiling & ready to help. Overall an A+ experience!
