Forest Floor Guesthouse

The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use paddle boards at Sand Lake.

Cozy Apartment on Rabbit Creek

Enjoy your stay in this cozy apartment above our garage. The space is tucked away in the woods off Rabbit Creek with a private entrance and parking. This beautiful apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, an office space, internet and washer/dryer. It sleeps 4 comfortably and can fit 6 if you want to be very cozy. Grocery stores and restaurants are within a few minutes drive. We are within 10 minutes of Flat Top and other hiking spots and Hill Top Ski Area. We are 20 minutes from downtown.

Close to airport and Kincaid Park trails, enjoy panoramic views of the Chugach Mountains from the great room or the wrap around deck. The main level features a full kitchen, living & dining areas, a bathroom with walk in shower, bedroom with a king bed & a full size washer and dryer. The upper level has an additional bedroom with full size bed, & a sitting loft overlooking the main level. Occasional airplane noise. What we do offer is a serene and peaceful home in the mountains with a rugged natural landscape, and occasional visits from bear and moose.
