Das Homestay von Linh & Dzung liegt ganz idyllisch an einem Seitenfluss des Mekong. Das Haus wurde von Linh selbst designt, es fügt sich perfekt in die Natur ein. Man hat direkten Blick auf den Fluss und wohnt in einem Zimmer im japanischen Stil. Linh & Dzung sind ganz wunderbare und engagierte Gastgeber, bei denen man sich wie bei Freunden zu Besuch fühlt und gleichzeitig genügend Privatsphäre hat. Man hat die Möglichkeit, verschiedene Touren fernab des Massentourismus in die Umgebung zu machen oder einfach die Ruhe im Homestay zu genießen. Linh und Dzung schlagen einem viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten vor und kümmern sich wirklich um alles. Auch unsere An- und Abreise wurde völlig problemlos und zeitlich flexibel von ihnen für uns organisiert. Nicht zu vergessen wäre außerdem Frau Hai, die Haushälterin. Sie kocht unglaublich leckeres und frisches Essen mit Zutaten aus der Region und kocht mit ganz viel Liebe. Ich würde unbedingt das Abendessen hinzuzubuchen. Vielen Dank für alles !

Had a fantastic stay! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, making everything smooth and easy. Highly recommend!

Ein herrlicher Ort, wunderschönes Gelände mit hohen Ansprüchen an Qualität in jeder Hinsicht! Der Gastgeber liebt was er tut, ist voller Motivation und versucht für seine Gäste alles möglich zu machen. Nach der Ankunft bekamen wir frisches Obst mit selbstgemachtem Joghurt, wir liefen durch den Garten und erfuhren alles nötige für einen guten Aufenthalt. Der Gastgeber hat sein eigenes Bier, ist Hobby Barista, außerdem bereitete er sehr guten Tee für uns zu. Frühstückt, Mittag- und Abendessen wurden frisch und nur für uns gekocht. Wer möchte kann sich ein kleines Boot oder Fahrräder leihen. Es fühlte sich an wie eine kleine Auszeit vom Leben. Wer im trubeligen Vietnam etwas Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig!

From the moment we arrived Summer was super attentive and made us feel so welcome. The home is beautifully decorated and the room like a sanctuary from the general very basic rooms throughout Vietnamese Homestays. Beautiful linen, pretty touches and a feminine feel. No surprise seeing as the home is run by 4 strong women 💪🏼 (Summer, Tina, Mum, Aunty!) Summer’s local recommendations were fabulous. We ate at CocoSeafood one night and Lau Nuong 35 the next. Both brilliant. Breakfast is included and delightful, either eggs or local soup. We tried both, yum! Thanks Mum and Aunty for great food. We slept so well, the place is so peaceful. We used both the bikes (free) and the scooter to explore the local area. Tina also needs a special mention - what a firecracker! She has a wicked sense of humour and we loved chatting to her. Thanks so much ladies for the best stay. Over all highly recommended.

Summer et toute sa famille nous ont très bien accueillis. Échanges fluides et amicaux, d’autant que Summer parle parfaitement français et anglais ! La chambre est très jolie et spacieuse et dispose d’une petite terrasse agréable. Et nous avons également pris les dîners sur place qui étaient très bons, et notamment les options végétariennes ! Merci beaucoup ! Un seul petit bémol : voisinage un peu bruyant en début de soirée mais cela n’a pas duré trop longtemps

Après des années de voyage, nous pensions avoir tout vu… jusqu’à ce qu’on découvre le Haven Nest Retreat. Un lieu hors du temps, où la nature, la beauté et la paix se rencontrent. Chaque détail respire l’authenticité. Tan est l’hôte le plus bienveillant que nous ayons rencontré : il vous accueille avec une sincérité rare, comme un ami de toujours. La cuisine ? Un pur bonheur. Chaque repas est un chef-d’œuvre de saveurs et d’amour. Et puis il y a Moka 🐾 , cette petite boule d’amour qui vous accueille chaque matin avec ses yeux pétillants – il fait partie de l’âme du lieu. Ce séjour a été bien plus qu’une simple pause : une expérience profondément humaine, touchante et inoubliable. Nous repartons le cœur léger, les yeux brillants et une seule pensée en tête : revenir un jour. Merci infiniment pour tout 🌴 Ce lieu est un trésor rare, on le recommande sans hésiter à tous les voyageurs en quête d’authenticité et de paix 💛

Unsere Gastgeberin war total hilfsbereit. Sie konnte uns bei allen Fragen weiterhelfen, hat uns Empfehlungen gegeben und uns sogar einen Mietroller organisiert. Die Unterkunft entspricht den Fotos und Beschreibungen. Man fühlt sich wohl aufgenommen.

Blown away by this place. The Haven retreat turned out to be my favourite (of 14) places I stayed in Vietnam over 5 weeks. I should prefix I am a VERY fussy traveller so can be hard to please sometimes… Tan is the definition of hospitality- but more than that, we left as friends. He speaks genuinely perfect English which made sharing a joke and a wine (or 5) a joy, I learnt so much from him. Ask him about the history of the house, everything was built with intention, from the perfect placement of the lights to avoid light pollution, and his refusal to cut down certain trees (much to the frustration of his architect) because he wanted to keep the nature and the local fireflies. I ate there every night (3) cooking was perfection and all made to order. The dog Moka is adorable, but if you feed him at dinner time you will be his little servant at every meal (my fault…) It’s also a perfect place to hire a scooter as the nearby roads are safe and quiet. Be sure to try the beers X

This might sound bold, but Tan truly redefines what hospitality means. He runs this stunning place with love and care for every detail, it is s true haven of beauty and tranquility that serves a much appreciated counterpoint to the bustling Saigon city life. I have hardly seen anything like it. Not to forget: If Tan offers you food, you should always accept. You will be in for a treat. A personal THANK YOU to you Tan and your great team. We shall return.
