We had a fabulous stay at John's place. The location is gorgeous, the house itself is really charming and well-appointed, and John is incredibly friendly and helpful. We had some difficulties getting to the house due a blizzard, and John was really great about keeping us posted on plowing and accessibility. The location is great, very close to Bromley and Manchester. My daughters loved sitting by the fire and curling up in the upstairs loft, and we all enjoyed the giant deep bathtub. Despite the fact that it was insanely cold outside, the house was very snug and we all slept well. I would recommend seriously considering this place if you're going to be in the area.

Amazing experience! Everything was prepared and fully equipped for us, from towels, soaps and shampoos, even spices and oil in the kitchen! Definitely recommended, and we will be happy to visit there again! summer or winter!

We had the most exquisite vacation at Anne's cottage. We were stunned by the beautiful views, the most thoughtful amenities, the cleanliness, and all of the care and attention that was put into preparations for our stay. We enjoyed skiing, local restaurants, and cherished the time we spent in the cottage as well. So grateful for everything, and so excited to come back! My absolute favorite AirBNB experience so far! This is a great house for a large group looking to stay near Mount Snow for a ski vacation. The first floor is very spacious. We were three families and there was plenty of room to hangout near the wood stove and tv. The kitchen/eating area was open and very big, can accommodate large group dinners easily. Downstairs kids bunk area was a great space for the kids to enjoy their own time together. Bathroom on every floor was super convenient. House has a nice deck to watch the snow fall or look out on peaks across the way. Everything worked great like heat, electricity and water heater for showers. Great value and size, I would certainly come back!

We had a lovely time at Maura’s house! Maura was friendly and responsive and clearly loves to share this beautiful area with guests. The house was spacious and well kept. (I would note for those who might mind that there were some family photos, magnets, etc. up, but that didn’t bother us at all!) The house is about 10 minutes from Mass MOCA and less than 20 minutes to Williams College.

We enjoyed our stay and the kids especially enjoyed the animals. Great location, great host.

This is a really special antique house that has been very well cared for. we visited in the midst of pretty narly presidents dy snow storm and the howling winds and multiple feet of snow outside only made the old house feel even cozier and more special. in the winter, the house sits on the end of a dirt road, due to the southern portion of it being covered in snow so we were nervous that we would get completely snowed in, but the town plowed the road multiple times each day and we had no problems getting in and out! Our big highlights were cross country skiing on the trail that crosses the property, puzzling by the gas fireplace, and the huge mounds of dog toys for our pup! Also, big thank you to Michelle for being so accommodating about our late check out. Our time here makes me want to check out all of the landmark trusts locations!

Had a great stay for the week. Extremely convenient for ski trips to Bromley (5min) and Magic (15min). House is cozy and comfortable, and so so quiet. The house is accurately described. We happened to arrive just at the beginning of a massive snow/wind storm, leaving the driveway impassable in the morning - Gardner was quick to respond having everything plowed (2x in 2 days -crazy storm), and was quick to answer any other questions. Can’t go wrong with having JJ Hapgoods just down the street for eat-in or take-out meals. Would definitely recommend.

Our family of 11 had a great time at this beautiful home during the Thanksgiving holiday. The views of the pond were incredible, especially after it snowed, and the hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. There was plenty of room for us all and we highly enjoyed our stay. The apothecary farm stay was the perfect weekend getaway in Vermont. It is located on a quiet plot of land allowing for a peaceful, relaxing stay. The small farmhouse is neat and quaintly decorated. Nicole was a great host and responded quickly to any questions. I’d highly recommend to anyone considering a stay here!

I just want to thank Kristen again, she was an amazing host! Her home is absolutely gorgeous, we felt so comfortable and happy staying here. Clean, cozy & comfortable. We traveled with 8 people and 2 babies. We fit perfectly in this home. We enjoyed the fire pit out back, family style dinners and game nights where we all fit in the same room was perfect. Our stay was perfect. Also, there’s a pizza/bowling and an escape room nearby. Let’s also not forget the views, waking up to seeing the white farm across the river was a sweet little treat every morning.

My 2nd time staying here. Always amazing. Check out Sprague and Sons Sugar House. Home baked breads, Maple Products, Cookies absolutely delicious. Even Maple Ice Cream and home baked Chocolate Chip Cookie with Maple Ice Cream sandwiches. The home is absolutely gorgeous and has Everything you need or want. Great stay. Eric is so helpful and welcoming. Very responsive to messages any time you need him. Thanks for an Incredible Experience. We hope to be back again soon.

Our stay at the Vermont House was nothing short of magical. We spent a few days there while visiting family, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The location couldn’t be more convenient—everything in town was just a short drive or walk away. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the house itself. From the moment we stepped inside, we were blown away. The photos online don’t even come close to capturing how beautiful and cozy it is in person. Every room is thoughtfully decorated with rustic charm and warmth, and it’s clear the owners have poured so much love and care into every detail. One of the most touching moments was arriving to find a handwritten welcome note waiting for us, along with a basket of local treats and wine. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture—it made us feel instantly welcomed and appreciated. We made so many wonderful memories here, and we’re already talking about when we can come back. If I could give this place more than 5 star

Great cozy stay for a little family getaway with our two kiddos and pup. Our toddler and pup loved romping on the property in mud season. The house is lovely and the bedrooms are beautiful. The town is about 15 mins away with an amazing bookshop and bakery. Of note; the area isn’t super walkable-lots of blind corners and no side walk (as expected!) and the property isn’t really big enough for long walks/runs - important to note if you are hoping for runs/dog walks :) although there are lovely trails in the area! Also, the road is close to the house and there are lots of paint chips in the dirt around the house-only matters if you have a dirt obsessed toddler :) Owner was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay!

Wow!!!! Our family rented the entire farm; Pond House and Barn apartment. First the house and apartment are so comfortable and you have everything you need! Including comfy bedding, soft towels and books to read! It was great for our adult son to have a little privacy and sleep in while the girls got up early to help on the farm (driving a gator, playing with the dog and grooming Pam’s beautiful horses were highlights)! We have returned many times and I LOVE the farm in all seasons. Pam is SUPER with kids, wonderful to talk to, so knowledgeable about local hikes, lakes, food, horse riding, kayaking, blueberry picking and more. If you are reading this, just book now!! A magical adventure awaits! And give Pam a hug from us!

Our group of 9 had a wonderful stay with Joy and Kristen. We loved the charm and coziness of their home. Our stay overlapped with a strong snow storm that canceled our ski plans, nevertheless we found plenty to do in their home and around the property. We enjoyed a wholesome weekend with plenty of cooking, art, pingpong, and sledding. Lastly, our car also broke down on our departure day and they were extremely helpful and accommodating While we found our solution.

Great stay from beginning to end: house was spacious, clean, well appointed and kitchen well stocked; clear and proactive communication. Dryer came in handy to dry kids clothing after they enjoyed playing in the snow. Appreciate that the heat was turned on well in advance of our arrival. Location is perfect for enjoying the outdoors, close to Mount Snow ski resort, and Wilmington. There is a local market a few yards away too. Everyone in the family loved the place and is looking forward to a return trip.

Wow, what a perfect country getaway. Our nine guests in the house had a lovely time. There is an outdoor dining area under a charming old tin roof where we had several meals. The setting was amazing. Old front porch looked out on a country road with fruit trees. Lots of room for various gatherings. The photos don't do it justice. Would come there again!

The house was great! Spacious with two living rooms and two fireplaces. Just minutes from Stratton mountain. We loved the hot tub and used the grill too. Check-in super easy and we had an issue on the last day and the host was very responsive.

Beautiful home in charming Wilmington VT This home was well equipped, spacious with an open floor plan. The yard was great with a deck for entertaining and a fire pit. Front porch was a great spot to sit with morning coffee. We will definitely rent here again. We had the most wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Vivian's place - it was perfect for our family of 4 and perfectly situated for us to both enjoy the charm of Manchester and the mountains for a few days of great skiing. The beds were super comfortable, and the place had everything we'd possibly need. Vivian was always available for any question - big or small - and we'd definitely love to return to the lodge!

We had a great time celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday with a weekend trip to Wilmington. Erika and Casey’s place was perfect for the 8 of us. They accommodated an early check in, which allowed us to beat the rain driving there. We arrived to the sweetest welcome basket- such a nice touch. It was a rainy weekend (because that is all we get in New England these days!) so it was so nice to have so much space at the house. We loved the hot tub, fire pit, and yard games when the rain held off. The kitchen was perfect for cooking dinners for the whole group. Plenty of pots and pans, etc. There is a small Shaw’s down the street for groceries we forgot. We didn’t bring any little ones but the top floor would be so much fun for kids! (But the adults did utilize the Nerf guns throughout the weekend!) Highly recommend the local restaurants and stores, and checking out the Brattleboro Farmers Market if you have a sunny Saturday morning!

Really loved our experience here. The home was exactly as expected. It was clean, comfortable and very spacious. The house was full of character and the grounds were beautiful. The beds were comfortable and it was an overall great experience. Close to restaurants, golf and state park. The host was also very responsive and flexible. Would definitely stay here again. Great bargain as well!

This is the second time we have stayed at Kim and Paul's place. Once again, it did not disappoint. Great location near several ski resorts and the beautiful Town of Manchester. The house is spotless and very comfortable with many amenities, and Kim is a pleasure to deal with. We plan to book again.
