Family-friendly holiday rentals in Benzie County

I loved the place, its amazing.

This was a very last minute rental and was so thankful! I didn’t even know there was a hot tub! It was such a great price and the rental is so cozy! There’s extra linens and pillows for plus it’s so relaxing! We really enjoyed it and appreciate the host last minute approval!

Over the top amazing place to stay. Beautiful, comfortable and adorable! Seth and Kelsey were outstanding hosts and my husband and I were so impressed, these two should give lessons on how to be the perfect hosts!!! The food was amazing and they also slipped in a little birthday surprise for me. The property was so well maintained and the hot tub and fire pit were a welcome surprise and we enjoyed meeting other guests fixing s’mores!! I forgot to sign the guest book so will be back soon!!

Collin's place was perfect for our family's stay. We had a 16 month old and he had plenty of room to play. The location was perfect, only a 2 minute drive to park and go skiing. I loved that there were fans for the bedrooms lol! We went to a local bar and grill called Geno's Sports Bar and the food was Excellent! There is plenty to do at Crystal Mountain and Collin's place is a perfect spot to enjoy all the outdoor activities!!

Loved our stay! We visited Scott's place for the Michigan Ironman 70.3 race. Space was great for our mix of adults and kids, and the kids LOVED the basement area with the projector screen and ping pong table!

K Haven took me back to the days of summer camp as soon as I stepped in the door. The smell of the wood and a little bit of mustiness was reminiscent of days spent on lakes, playing games, group meals, silly songs, etc. The cabin does not have a large footprint but the spaces are thoughtful and well organized with lots of hooks, shelves, and drawers for your stuff. The kids shoved their suitcases under the bunks, just like camp! This was one of the more interesting and unique places I've ever stayed in on AirBnb. It's well located to all of the sights the area has to offer, but you will need a car. We had a great week and enjoyed our time. Our kids especially loved catching toads, having s'mores, and firing up the sauna on a rainy day.

I have stayed with Lizzie 3 times for ski trips to Crystal Mountain and every experience has been great. ilI look forward to staying again in the future!

Great location and within easy short drives to many attactions in the area to include canoeing, cycling, hiking, Crystal Lake, Lake Michigan plus local bars and restaurants.

Great place to stay, did a weekend golf trip, perfect place to stay.

We love tiny cabins in general but this one really stood out from the rest - beautiful interiors, spacious shower, hot water, well-stocked kitchen, and I slept like a baby on that mattress. Our pup loved exploring the outdoors! Lisa was such a gracious host even when we were being less than ideal guests. Her dog-friendly beach and restaurant suggestions were great - we especially loved St. Ambrose Cellars.

Loved staying at Betty and Marty’s place. The lofted guest space is so comfortable and cozy. Betty and Marty themselves are incredibly friendly and helpful. They shared some fruits and veggies with us, and welcomed our pets with open arms. This is truly a gem of Benzonia!

We had a great stay! Lori was very responsive and flexible with checking in/out. She was quick to respond and very helpful. The house was spotless and bathrooms were nice. The location was perfect for skiing on/off the hills! Beautiful view of the area from the house. We look forward to staying at this place again!

For starters the house is super weird, but has a unique charm to it. It is very vintage, lots of original woodwork, comfy beds, 2 living rooms and 2 kitchens. We visited for my 40th and the house is walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants in town. We enjoyed sitting in the front yard and watching the world go by. Would recommend for people who don’t need everything to be modern and updated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location and perfect accommodations for 4 women to share some time together. Binged Netflix one night on the smart TV. Toasty campfires in the fire pit the other 2 nights. Bonus - Northern Lights over Little Platte Lake!!

Great place and would definitely stay there again. Very spacious, nice bedrooms that all had separate air conditioners (great for spring to fall), and close to the nearby highways to nearby towns.

We had a wonderful stay, location was perfect and the home was very comfortable! Encountered a few problems with directions and a leak in the bathroom but owner was quick to respond. Would recommend

I really love this little cottage! Serene and surrounded by nature. A great view of a little inland lake. Very homey.

Staying at George and Paula's farmhouse was great. It was cute and cozy, perfect for a weekend away from the city. The area was quiet and private, and the whole property was huge. There were 6 of us total, but there was plenty of sitting room (living room, enclosed porch, dining room, outside front porch, and outside back porch). We especially loved the enclosed porch. We would love to stay here again.

Our second year at the charming cottage. A heavenly retreat with just the right blend of activity and quietude to truly reset and rejuvenate. The cottage views are tremendous and it feels like one is living in a tree house! Cozy and homey throughout - the beds are comfortable, the kitchen functional, the living room inviting. We will always cherish are time at the cottage!

I am a woman of words and I am at a loss to describe how wonderful this home and our stay was. I knew the moment I saw the listing that it’d be perfect for my husband and I, our three young children (3,4,7) , and my parents visiting from Florida. The location is between several desirable destinations and the site itself is serene and peaceful. While I love words, I am a visual designer and I must say this home was like Christmas for me- every detail thoughtfully and elegantly considered. It pairs my favorite things- form and function, nature and comfort. The pine trees made you feel connected and the amenities were beyond cozy. From the cookware to the dining recommendations, the books and records (!), we savored it all. And our kids felt more than at home as well! The basement was an indoor playground for them to enjoy their brisk spring break. Thank you for making this such a special trip we will recount for many years! Highly recommend.

Jerry was a fantastic host! The cottage was in a beautiful location with just about everything we needed for a quiet weekend away to enjoy nature! A short distance from sleeping bear dunes and easily travel-able! Lots of local activities and things to see and do. Hope to stay at Jerry's cottage again!
