Planwydd Main Farmhouse is situated within 25 acres leading down to Cwellyn Lake with spectacular uninterrupted views towards Snowdon with Snowdon Ranger and Rhyd Ddu Paths to Snowdon within walking distance There are many walks which include Lon Gwyrfai, Nantlle Ridge, and Mynydd Mawr and various forestry walks on our doorstep. We are an ideal base for exploring the whole of Snowdonia and North Wales or you can take time to relax beside the log burner and catch up with family or friends

Direct access into Rhyd ddu path to summit Clogwyn cottage is on the Clogwyn y Gwin estate on Snowdon This beautiful 2 bedroom house is nestled at the foot of the mountain with private routes . The Welsh highland railway runs behind which is amazing to watch and to go on . The house has been renovated to a very high standard with all the modern equipment you need. With a fantastic log burner with logs provided and a luxury welcome basket .

Our cosy cottage is the ideal getaway in the beautiful village of Rhyd Ddu. Garn View is the perfect base for walking the stunning trails of Snowdonia, exploring North and West Wales and at the beginning of the Rhyd Ddu path you couldn't be better positioned to walk Snowdon. If you're just looking to relax, it's perfect for couples who want to enjoy the stunning views of Y Garn and the tranquility of Rhyd Ddu with it's tea shop and local pub serving great food, within walking distance.

Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)

Modern, very comfortable and very clean. Sleeps 4, double ensuite room and double/twin room also ensuite. Outside area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. In a quiet village setting with two pubs serving food within a two minutes walk of the cottage. Free wifi, smart TV’s in bedrooms. Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.

A cosy semi detached house, situated on the outskirts of a small village called Waunfawr. Ideally located for accessing the beautiful mountains and coastal areas of North Wales and Snowdonia. Village shop situated just a 5-10 minute walk away. Also the local pub - Snowdonia Parc Brewpub serving good foods and real ales. Access to the Welsh Highland Railway from the station in the village, its a short ride to the picturesque village of Beddgelert or to the historic town of Caernarfon.

The Hide - Glamping Hut - Snowdonia

A cosy and relaxing space with touches of rustic charm. Located in the heart of Snowdonia, surrounded by the mountains. An open plan living space with all the essentials. Cooking area ,with mini fridge & camping stove. Parking Private parking available, the track up to the cabin is steep. There is a parking space available at the bottom of the track (50 meters away from the cabin) or you are welcome to drive up, as there is space to park and turn around at the top of the track.

The quiet side of Snowdon. Bryn Derwen is close (2 miles & 3 miles respectively) to the start of the Snowdon Ranger & Rhyd Ddu paths to the summit - without the crowds! Bryn Derwen is a self catering, mid terraced cottage, between Caernarfon and Beddgelert in the Snowdonia National Park. It is spacious with dining/kitchen & pantry, south facing sitting room, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. The gardens front & back, offer superb views of river & mountains and the Welsh Highland Railway.

With stunning views of Snowdon the cottage has the Rhyd Ddu path, the Welsh Highland steam railway, Y Garn & Nantlle ridge on its doorstep. The cottage was refurbished in 2017 to a high standard. There are 2 wood burners, fully equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine & microwave. Excellent WIFI, Sky Q, walking guide books. Included is an initial supply of kindling, paper and logs. The Cwellyn Arms pub is just a few steps away.

The Caban is only a stone's throw away from the famous Slate Trail and Penrhyn Castle, steeped in its links to the Bethesda mining history can be seen clearly from the decking area. Attractions close by includes Zip World and Snowdonia Mountain walks.
