Welcome to the Shawnee and "Corinth"! The structure in which you will be staying was formerly a two room schoolhouse that's been transformed into a residence. The school's name was Corinth, hence the name of this establishment. Accessed by a private outside entrance with a deck, the space consists of a bedroom with a queen bed, a hallway, a full bath and a beverage/ closet nook. The deck is a great place to sit and relax while watching the birds, squirrels, rabbits, chickens, and ducks!

The cabin is set in a 90 acre area surrounded by woods with two small lakes (fishing, walking trails and paddle boating available at no extra charge). There is only one other cabin on the 90 acres. Nearest town, Dixon (3 miles), Madisonville (20 miles, Henderson 21 miles), Evansville, IN (has a regional airport about 35 miles). Truly a relaxing getaway place.

It is one bedroom apartment in the basement of our home, with no cleaning fee because we want you to treat it as you would your home. There is a separate entrance and access to 26 acres of hills and trees. We have two horses on the property and feed from anywhere 3 to 15 deer each evening. We are 4.2 miles from I-24 and 7 miles from Kentucky lake, Patti's, Turtle Bay and the marina. Full kitchen available and beautiful sunsets. It is beautiful, words cannot do it justice.

This was an absolutely wonderful Memorial Day weekend stay! The cottage was very peaceful and fairly secluded. We were able to get out on the lake a catch a few fish- we brought our own kayaks. There was a short 15-20 minute drive to several different restaurants and places to shop. Katrina was a great host- quick to reply any time I reached out with questions. No complaints or negatives whatsoever! 5 stars all around.

This is the perfect home to stay at in Cadiz, Kentucky with a host that goes above and beyond. The space was spotless on the inside and outside the property was absolutely stunning. The property is secluded but a quick 10 minute drive to town with everything you could need! Scott provided great recommendations before our arrival with additional pamphlet recommendations in a binder when we arrived. Scott answered any and all questions extremely promptly as well. Thanks for the such a great stay Scott!
