Simply perfect! The hamlet is a haven of unparalleled tranquility. In Lantern Cottage itself we marvelled at the tasteful design and a ceaseless feast of wonderful quirkiness. The beautifully tended garden is a delightful place to find solitude. One of the highlights of our many travels this idyllic cottage is a definite revisit.

Had a wonderful stay, the barn is amazing and was the perfect backdrop for our week away! Amazingly clean and comfortable and the beds were super comfy. Sonia and Adam were warm, friendly and welcoming 😊

Thank you for a lovely 3 nights stay! We had a girly family break (mums/daughters/cousins/aunts) and we all felt so relaxed and comfortable. Plenty of room for the 5 of us and it was spotless. Including essentials (washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea coffee sugar etc) was a lovely touch and very helpful. Dionne was lovely, very attentive and provided recommendations on places to eat and things to do. Thank you again :)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Deborah’s gorgeous cottage which was really close to all local pubs, shops , restaurants, town walks, Deborah is a fantastic host and was ever so kind allowing us an early check in The cottage is superbly presented and well appointed to reach all local amenities , and the parking arrangements were excellent allowing us to park our car and explore Bridgnorth for 2 days with our labradoodle which we loved!! The cottage is so pretty and comfortable and based at the top of The High Street in the High town but was still really quiet and peaceful We will definitely be booking again

Nicole was such a fabulous host, it’s clear she has set out to ensure everyone has a fantastic stay. Communication was quick and had recommendations for food locally. I loved the little luxury details - beautiful fluffy towels, gorgeous cookies, a good fan, shampoos, conditioner, dog treats and towels etc. A very lovely stay, walking distance to the town where we met very friendly locals. Would definitely stay again 🥰

Really enjoyed our stay. Felt very at home. Very quiet , Great shower lovely hot water at any time . Such a great place as a base , Good places for dog walking in the area . Would have like to use the garden a bit more but we had a wet week.

It was a quick couple of days stay in a very cute accommodation and the scenery was outstanding. Karen greeted us on arrival and offered us milk for a nice cup of tea. Would highly recommend for a quick getaway in the countryside and close enough to town.

Thank you to Suzanne for an amazing stay. It was very relaxing, not just because of the location and surroundings, but also because Suzanne provided everything we needed to settle after a long journey. Although we didn’t formally speak, we felt you were there if we needed anything and always responded almost immediately. You provided a lot of useful information including maps for local walks, shops etc. We liked that fact that we could walk out of the lodge and immediately find walking routes in any direction. We also liked that the garden was secure, one of our dogs is a little excitable and it was reassuring to know that she could venture in to the garden without worrying about what she was up to! All amenities were perfectly functional and of good quality. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with good shower too. Thank you for a lovely stay. I would recommend Suzanne’s place to anyone who likes long scenic walks, relaxing, and escaping their busy lives in a beautiful location.

What an amazing little getaway! Had so much fun paddling and swimming in the lake, was amazing to have a full kitchen attached to the dome. The hottub was spotless and tucked away. Didn't find time to explore the farm but looked like lots of walking opportunities around. A good excuse to come back! Thanks for a great stay.

Put short, we didn't want to leave. It was fantastic from start to finish, Hayley was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had some fantastic treatments while staying, and fully made use of the amenities. Such a wonderful location, can't wait to hopefully return.

We had a wonderful weekend here. Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous, tranquil setting with superb hosts, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They had thought of everything from a welcome bottle of wine and sweet treats to robes, sliders and even treats for the dog! Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, lovely pool and hot tub. We will definitely return. If you’re looking for rest and relaxation in quiet and peaceful surroundings this is the place for you.

The snug little pods are a perfect place to stay, overlooking open dales with sheep and cows, ducks swimming on pond right outside. Michiala could not have been more welcoming and helpful. we had all the peace and quiet we needed but she was always ready to assist as soon as we needed anything. Her cats and dogs were as friendly as Michaela herself. our neighbours in the other pod were super friendly too ..but with two bathrooms and a perfectly equipped little kitchen between us it never felt crowded. we loved being able to bring our own bedding because we don't like thick duvets, this meant we slept really well and felt absolutely at home.

Our third stay at the Shippon and our two autistic boys treat it like a home from home. So relaxing I didn’t want to leave. Our youngest loves water and animals so swimming, hot tub, fussing the lovely dogs, feeding Monty the horse carrots, all while being followed around by the chickens. He was in heaven! A great base for visiting family and lots to do nearby if we want to. This time we went to hoo farm, but we were generally all happy to stay at the Shippon. The Shippon is spotless and to cosy and comfortable. Our dogs love sitting on the patio watching the world go by and Newport dog park is literally a 5-10 minute walk and they love it. Thanks so much Sara and Phil, you are always so helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Me and my partner went with the dog, we had one of the best times in this spot, really relaxing to be at the pod and then travelling around the villages was lots of fun. Was always nice to come back to the lovely pod! The kitchen had everything you needed as well

We very much enjoyed our third visit - this place is great for our extended family group. We love the house and how it is furnished. It's in a very peaceful and beautiful spot, with several lovely walks from the door. There is really no need to go out in the car! This time we loved that the pool had been updated and connected to a heat pump. In the evenings we made good use of the piano and the wood-burning stove. Thank you! We hope to return.

We booked the annex for a small family gathering as we were going to the nearby NEC for the Gardeners’ World show and so the setting seemed the perfect place with its wonderful garden backdrop. Chris met us at check in and gave us the grand tour and it didn’t disappoint — a truly beautiful space filled with love and care and fantastic plants of all shapes and sizes. The annex itself was wonderful too, ideal for us to cook food each night and make breakfast, and relax on the sofa and catch up. The beds were all super comfortable and the bathroom easily suited us for our needs. A high end finish throughout made our family stay a really enjoyable weekend reunion.

We had a lovely stay at the hut! Kate provides everything you need (and more!) and the location is extremely peaceful. We were able to explore the Cotswolds with everything a short drive away. There was great attention to detail which makes a big difference

We had a lovely, peaceful stay here. The lodge is surrounded by beautiful scenery and the hot tub was the best we’ve been in with gorgeous views of the sunset! Located in a really quiet area, we weren’t disturbed by any noise, but enjoyed being driving distance of local towns and places to visit. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing!

What a fantastic find, perfect location, beautiful cottage and beautiful surroundings, we will definitely return and would recommend, if you’re reading this review book before you miss out you will not be disappointed. There are numerous pubs, restaurants and a local Tesco Morrisons and Sainsbury’s we really enjoyed our stay and felt at home the host was really helpful and friendly we tried to rebook for another night but no availability

Absolutely loved my stay I stayed for 1 night absolutely lovely apartment as described.Perfect for anyone who’s visiting the safari park as only 5 minutes away.Will definitely be back soon!

We loved our stay at Walton Farm Loft - extremely well equipped and a great location - we were attending a wedding at Bredenbury Court Barns and it was very convenient. Jane & John were very helpful before we arrived and there were lots of little touches which made the stay even more special - like milk for tea and some lovely toiletries. We’d love to come back one day.

We had a lovely little break in Apple Blossom’ very peaceful, beautiful views. The hut was very clean. Tea, coffee & sugar was provided along with marshmallows for the bbq. Enclosed garden very safe for our Puppy and water & food bowls and treats were left by the owner. Would definately recommend staying here to anyone looking for a break away. David was very friendly and helpful.
