House holiday rentals in Bézenac, Castels et Bézenac

Beynac et Cazanac is such a stunning setting and we were back for a second visit. Catherine's place is absolutely perfect, the pictures, although beautiful don't live up to the real thing. It is magical. The bedrooms are all lovely, comfortable beds, pillows and lovely linens. Each room has it's own charm. And there are 2.5 bathrooms! The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room lovely but we were so lucky to have a sunny and warm week in mid September that we were outside for all meals and most of the time. We were in the pool a few times each day and could not get enough of the view. Lots to watch on the river as it was full of bright canoes every day. Hot air balloons floated by most every day, some almost close enough to touch. At night the castles are lit up in the distance...simply stunning. The town is so historic with cobbled streets and medieval houses, no surprise movies are filmed here. But the best part is how peaceful it is, hard to leave. Great shops too

La maison est incroyable avec de très belles prestations notamment la piscine intérieure et le jacuzzi. Nous avons passé un excellent week-end entre amis. Les enfants et les adultes ont pu profiter du billard. Nous recommanderons cette adresse. Merci beaucoup.

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

The house is located in a secluded plot surrounded by woodland and with amazing views over the countryside. It has comfy beds, a modern kitchen with everything you need, a gas BBQ, a huge deck with outdoor seating and of course the lovely heated swimming pool. It is truly peaceful yet within an easy drive of Montignac with its supermarkets and riverside eateries. Saint Amand de Coly is a great base for exploring the Dordogne by car, with lots to see, visit and do within just half an hour’s drive and more further afield. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this super property.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Marc et Denise, qui sont de supers hôtes. Le cadre est superbe, le logement est charmant, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. N'hésitez pas à réserver leur table d'hôte, vous allez vous régaler ! C'est aussi très bien situé, vous trouverez de nombreuses escapades touristiques dans les alentours. Nous recommandons grandement leur gîte :)

We hebben een heerlijke ontspannen tijd gehad. Een heerlijk huis en geweldig zwembad. Lekker rustig, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Patrick heeft ons geweldig geholpen toen we pech hadden met de auto. Echt mensen waar je op kunt bouwen. We komen heel graag terug.

Beautiful home! The pool area was so relaxing. We had 9 people and had plenty of room. What a great place to stay.

Notre séjour à Monfort a été extrèmement agréable. Quel bonheur de boire son café dans le jardin le matin face au château de Monfort. Certes le logement se trouve juste à coté de la route (donc si vous voulez du silence totale ce ne sera pas le cas) mais la vue et les environs font de ce logement un endroit tout à fait exceptionnel, ce qui en fait oublier ce petit désagrément. Morgane a été une hôte charmante et tout à fait à l'écoute. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement pour une pause hors du temps. Merci pour tout!

Francine et son mari ont été des hôtes très agréables. Leur logement est confortable et offre tout ce dont on a besoin. L'environnement est très calme et il y a beaucoup d'activités à faire aux alentours.

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Stephane and Bob's beautiful gite. They are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have a fabulous home and garden. Our daughter loved the pool and felt very at home (as did we). The perfect place to relax but also very close to lots of places to visit. We hope to return! Many thanks 🙏

Je kan je geen betere gastheer wensen dan Arnaud! Pro actief of alles naar wens is, of informerend of hulp nodig is. Via de app om je rust en privacy te respecteren, maar nemen de tijd voor een gesprek als je dat wilt. De accommodatie is nieuw en gezellig ingericht met oog voor details. Wij voelden ons er gelijk thuis! De dikke muren houden warmte buiten en je kan er een goede nachtrust hebben in de heerlijke bedden en goede geluidsisolatie. De ligging is gunstig gelegen ten opzichte van de vele bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Er is al veel over geschreven in de introductie van Arnoud en Elodie, maar als je lekker rustig wilt zwemmen, aan de kant wilt relaxen en in de schaduw onder de bomen wilt liggen met een horeca voorziening erbij, ga dan naar Pont de Vicq in Le Buisson de Cadouin. Ook het plaatsje Monpazier is zeker de moeite waard! Normaal liggen supermarkten kilometers ver weg maar in deze plaats is er eentje op 900 meter. Arnoud, Elodie, dank voor de heerlijke tijd!!

Région charmante, appartement au cœur d’un joli petit village typique, très propre avec toutes les commodités nécessaires et une joli décoration qui permet tout de suite de s’y sentir bien. Hôte accueillant, réactif et très adaptable. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Gîte agréable où l'on se sent bien tout de suite, lumineux et bien équipé. Les échanges avec Marie-Lys sont faciles et très agréables. La situation du gîte est ideal pour découvrir cette belle région.

We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

Benoit's house was lovely for our three-day stopover. Everything was super-clean and very well equipped. The pool was wonderful after a long, hot drive, but we were a little unlucky as it then rained for the rest of our stay! Benoit is the perfect host - responsive yet giving you all the privacy you need. Thank you!

Le logement de Cedric a beaucoup de charme et est bien équipé. L'accès au logement demande un peu d'effort car il y a une côte à monter à pied, mais on est amplement récompensés à l'arrivée avec la vue magnifique sur la vallée de la Dordogne depuis la terrasse. Cedric a été très réactif dans nos échanges Je recommande !

Where do I start! I actually got emotional leaving this place! This is my first time back to the dordogne in 30 years….. now with my own family. I cannot fault the property it was perfect, the views, well there are no words to describe how beautiful it was. Pool perfectly heated! Grounds stunning. And Dominique was the most hospitable host, although we had the language barrier we communicated very well via apps to translate and shared some laughs together! We visited so much it was the perfect location for visiting many villages in the dordogne, supermarket nearby and facilities at the property meant we could eat home and bbq each evening after long days out exploring! Dominique, from the bottom of our heart we thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful house and we will definitely be visiting again!

Super moment au Hiboux heureux !! L’emplacement est idéal au cœur du Périgord noir et de ses activités (châteaux, parc, grottes et. … ) La maison est grande, calme et reposante . Vraiment nous avons passé un magnifique séjour . Merci à Ewen pour sa disponibilité et sa bienveillance.

Séjour en famille idéal dans un cadre ravissant. La maison est charmante et tout confort, Julie et son époux sont des hôtes attentionnés, le hameau de Pechboutier sort tout droit d’un rêve. A 15 mn à peine de beaucoup de points d’intérêt préhistoriques (Les Eyzies, Font-de-Gaume, Combarelles…) pour le plus grand plaisir des petits et des grands :)

Amazing location with a spectacular view. Very spacious but the bedroom layout was not favourable for the second couple. Stairs could be difficult for people with limited mobility

We loved staying in this charming, rustic and quirky gîte. The two terraces were perfect for dining, relaxing and enjoying the view. There is so much to do in the area we could definitely have stayed for longer. Brigitte is a lovely warm and welcoming host. Thank you Brigitte for a wonderful stay!
